We should win this game- I know it will be difficult, as most sub 500 teams are for the Grizzlies, but I think we can eek out a W here.

Grizzlies did a nice job sharing the ball in the first half. Hopefully they can open up the margin in the second half.

So we turn into a jump-shooting team 2nd half, Zach doesn't see enough minutes and the Grizzlies play the ugliest quarter of basketball I've seen from them in awhile.
I don't care if they win or lose this game, they were absolute dogsh*t 2nd half.
And if Marc is going to be that average offensively he needs to give something on defense.

1. Rudy Gay comes up small again, 7-8 to start the game and then finishes 3-10
2. Hollins played the starters pretty much the whole 3rd quarter, they only scored 13 points the whole quarter yet they had no substitutions until 0:39 seconds, dumbest move Hollins has ever made.
3. Lopez owned Gasol when it mattered
4. I don't know if Rudy Gay was supposed to miss the 2nd free throw but if he was then that is just freakin moronic
5. Mayo didn't want to play today, didn't even look at the basket

Some people thought it was dumb of me to think that Anthony Morrow and Kris Humphries were good bench players to trade for. Grizzlies were 2-12 from the 3pt line. Morrow was 3-4, with 19 points total off the bench. Humphries had 14 points and 7 rebounds off the bench.

In total the Grizzlies had something like 12 points from their bench. New Jersey had around 55 points, with Morrow and Humphries getting 33 combined.

Come on guys, Memphis needs to make a move to get good bench players if they want to have even an ounce of a chance for the playoffs. You simply can't expect all five Grizzlies starters to have their top game every night. There has to be a couple of guys subbing in that can carry the torch when called upon.

We were bound to lose one or two on this trip. I just thought a loss at the Bucks or 76ers was more likely than a loss in New Jersey; especially after than near perfect first quarter. Anyone else feel like the quest for 500 is like the "chase the dragon" game on the South Park guitar hero episode?

I certainly didn't think it was dumb to trade for Morrow - he's one of my favorite players in the game. I'd trade anyone for him.
