Am I the only one that understands that 'Kick-Push' is about DRUG DEALING? I'm in a 3 hour debate over this.... Can anyone give me some more fire power to prove it, or am I not correct?

I had no idea that the song was about drug dealing before I read that lol...now when I tell my friends, they don't believe me so I get where you're coming from.

On Game's new mixtape - they just released the tag-less version...I've listened to about half and it's pretty good so far. No song has really stuck out yet (besides the one with Fab), but I've listened to the songs only once so I'm sure they'll grow.

I've spent all day showing them this, along with J. Cole. Apparently both of them suck!? :lol:

Yeah Kick, Push is a drug dealing allegory. Lupe had a lot of drug dealing allegories in his early works.

@atribecalledrch
Runaway Girl is great, but I'm also a huge Colin Munroe fan so anything he does to me is great. Through him is actually how I found out about Drake, I caught on late though I never was that big of a fan. I get Lonely to is good, but Ive heard three other guys get on it and kill it for me. Beautiful music and Winner are meh to me and you know is great.

How you guys feel about the Canadian battle scene? This is the last title match, Bender is pretty sick with the bars, but he really needs breath control.

" Now he's panic-ed that I wrote this, braggadocios , magnum opus , and you'll notice that he's stoic as this moment fast approaches , but that's all an act , balderdash. He knows his chance is hopeless , the title is only respected as much as the man that holds it. "

"I ain't even wastin' Gloria Gaynor, Georges Lemaitre, Norman Bates or Norman Mailer, Morley Safer, the Foreign Beggars, or the real Noriega."

Arcane was coming with nothing but personals, not even creatively. He made it into the title match by making up stories about Loe Pesci raping his sister and having a restraining order...That's FOUL and I've disliked him ever since. He then was getting bodied by Charron who used a "I banged your sister" joke which caused Arcane to threaten him and act tough...threw off Charron's free and took away the edge. Turns out Arcane's sister is dead, so I'm not too upset about it...but you're in a battle and dude is freestyling, EXPECT THAT. Real Deal's son gets dissed and he gets clowned for spousal abuse jokes...he rolls with it. Ok's dad was on life support and Hollow dissed the man (albeit gently). Arcane is WACK to me, worst representation of a champion period. Bender though, could be a problem. Sketch won't beat him, Jack Schitt should get a shot.

Some recent GT battles that are lyrical and laced with wordplay...

New Breed is kinda outta the SONS mold, a LOT of word play...but he did well.

Brixx IS SONS, but he came with some really nice word play here. John John meanwhile is one of my favorite cats just off of how far he's come since his first battles. He's got an insane amount of presence whenever he goes. His punches were crazy, he had the crowd laughing and he had great word play himself. Dude got bars too.

I was luke warm on the canadian battle scene at first. But its grown on me. They have so many good battlers now. Charron is a beast with the free's man. Some of the best rebuttals I've heard.

I agree with you on Arcane though. The guy is garbage. He didnt deserve to beat Thesaurus. Pete bodied him. Arcane has such a vanilla flow. He is the Okwerdz of canada. But a lot less successful.

Bender IS a problem though. That was a classic performance put on by him. He just crushed Arcane. Though i do feel he robbed 24/7. Who is slept on big time by the way, but thats a different argument.

My favorite from Canada is Pat Stay. Dude is just nice. Too bad Arsonal got turned back at the border, because he was gonna get crushed. Again.

Yeah, I'm a Chicago guy. Not really up on him though.
