He was like the guy who is more passive in a group of friends and not showed any social skills :D , the other guys were laughing and entertaining themselves and Melo was more indifferent. I also remember that Amar'e was very sympathic and humble. He asked me whether I know his name or not and since I was a little child, he was surprised and smiled that I certainly know who the hell is that dude :D If there is a thread about that kind of stories, I can tell my story in last year's World Championship which contains Andy Rautins and Timofey Mozgov. But in this topic, it is reasonable to STFU and GTFO :D now

Dude's shooting 43.4 from the field and 29% from three. And if he's so clutch, why do his playoff numbers suck?

he averaged 30 last POs and 27 the POs b4 that

and he has hit a game winner in the POs

Duetta, he is a dominant, starting, all star... these are facts, not opinions... some people around here just seem in denial for some reason

I agree completed. Some of these guys can't wait to return us to cap hell, despite the fact that the three key 2012 FA are all superior team contributors to Anthony. I'll be dammed if I give up my 2012 flexibility until I know, for sure, who will be available.

so with that logic, are your supporting some of us who say that chandler should be traded this deadline melo or no melo?

And, for the season, what are his numbers? And for his last three seasons, what are his numbers? Does his career trajectory look as if it's headed up or down? I say down, big time, Antoine Walker territory. Which doesn't mean that I won't throw money at him this summer. But I sure as hell won't both give him MAX money and surrender a package worth a franchise talent. He's simply not a franchise talent, even if he is a legend in this own mind. Dude should get off twitter and work on his jumper.

to be honest, Im totally down NOT getting him PROVIDED donnie can get another guard (ahem mayo) and a center while keeping fields, gallo. (he can use a package of players like, ar, chandler)...cuz mayo is a FA in that 2012 year, and if he can get said center that also expires that summer, then donnie can be in business in that summer too while fielding a competitive team in the meantime

man chandlers balls are shriveling these past few games, if it was some elaborate plan to tank his trade value, its probably working, just hoping Mr. Chandler signs for a hometown discount if he doesn't wanna go to Denver so bad..maybe 7MM/yr? 5yr/35m would be a steal for Chandler but I doubt that happens

LOL @ his poor play tanking his trade value. Scouts know what the deal is.

It's pretty obvious that it's all because of the possibility of him going to Denver or elsewhere. You can see it in his face. He's not tanking on purpose people...

I don't buy the notion that players purposely play bad to tank their trade value to stay with their home team.

I think Chandler's definitely distracted but for the opposite reason. He's not the brightest bulb, so I wouldn't be surprised if he thinks that if he DOESN'T play well, the Knicks will think he's expendable and ship him to Denver. So he's playing as if he's trying to impress, forcing up even more bad shots than usual for him, and losing confidence and aiming his shot more. The more he struggles, the more he probably gets worried that he'll be traded, and it's affecting his play.
