I'm in - I'd start Goran at the 2 and play Duds at SF, but I'll take your idea, too

I was hoping Vince would have a bit of a rebirth here but .... meh

Not much to add, my friends. pretty sucktastic effort - Burning Heart had it nailed - the nightmare there's no awaking from. Remember the days of "the sky is falling"?
It's in little itty-bitty shattered pieces all over the ground

I think the worst part about this nightmare is not just the fact that we're losing, its the fact that we're losing with an old-washed up team. A team with no future.

IMO, the only "washed up" older player on our team is Vince Carter.

I don't see how replacing Vince with a unathletic role player like Dudley or a mediocre backup PG like Dragic would improve the team. Neither of those guys plays better defense than Carter or shoots the 3 better. Pietrus is pretty terrible, and hasn't looked good since the playoffs two years ago. If this team is going to improve, its not from "within".

You can expect a good game from Hill 2/3 nights, with a great game every 5. From Carter, he has seemed to play well 1/2 nights, but has only played great once. This type of inconsistency is frustrating, but I'd take the veterans over our young "talent" every day of the week... at least Carter and Hill have proved they can deliver throughout their careers. IMO the best rotation is Nash 33, Dragic 15, Carter 33, Dudley15, Hill 33, Childress15, which is close to how Gentry's been playing it. If a certain player is sucking it up (Hill/Carter) you give their backup a few more minutes in the second half.

An upgrade at the PF/C positions would do wonders for everyone. Right now our frontcourt is holding the team back defensively and offensively.

But no one sees the point of playing a guy that doesn't care at all. At least play guys we plan to keep, and if we want to have Goran run this team, let him get as much playing time with Nash so he can feel how things should go.

I would say both of them are as good shooting the three as Vince, and if he's better it;s so marginal his lack of effort make sit moot. Both of them are solid defensively, too, and Jared is the Anti-Vince in terms of little things that help the team.

I'm not blaming the current suckage on Vince - he's just not contributing enough to warrant playing. We can't afford guys who take whole game soff and if he's not contributing because he's hurt, he needs to sit until he's better.

Agreed. Hell, I'd tell Vince to just go home and wait for news he's been dealt. I think the guy's attitude is a major, major problem. Dollars to doughnuts that Nash called him out specifically in the meeting today.

I'm not blaming all this on him, certainly because we sucked before the trade was made....but I think his presence is a hindrance to chemistry.

Both. I won't go into his basketball abilities in this post though.

He goes and has a laugh with opposing players after a loss, even with the opposing team's owner. Wtf kind of attitud is that? If I just lost a crucial ball game I would get back to the locker room as quick as possible to reflect on what I could've done better.

Vince's attitude is/has killing/killed our chemistry.Tell the guy to take a walk and let players who actually care get minutes.
