some were, i wasn't

dude was more ball dominant, overly flashy and played poor defense and thats why he couldnt get PT over farmar

hes left out of discussions as to why the gasol trade was a steal, because the scouting report on him wasnt completed yet and we sold memphis on critter's potential just as much as we sold them on marc gasol's potential

Alot of other Laker Forums were heavy on the J-Critt bandwagon as well.

Were well off, and oh yeah we got Pau Gasol for him. LoL

Plus Shannon is 10 times the player Javaris will ever be .

I still think highly of the guy. Wonderful talent and the way he sometimes linked up with Drew in the summer league was pretty solid.

Wasn't he posting close to 27 PPG in that summer league? There was a reason everyone was hyped up about him and even Phil had some good things to say about him.

He went to a crappy situation in Memphis behind Conley Jr and some other young PG I can't recall and then by the time he reached Washington he was basically off. Surely not the brightest bulb in the office but if he can conjure enough determination he should see the league again.

I'm not sure J-Critt is the answer, but we DEFINITELY need another guard.

Well everybody is entitled to their opinion, Critt had all the tools and skill it takes to be a lead guard in this league. If he was as bad as guys here want to make him out to be, then explain why Kobe took that boy under his wing ?

And the only reason Farmar got PT over Critt was because he felt threatened by Critt, the minute we traded him Jordan transformed to crap.

Could have been someone. Could have been a contender, instead of a bum, which is what he is.

That wasn't the case because the Grizz want something of value back for Pau.

I remember when we drafted him, I was praying we got him over this crappy Rondo character.

really?
rondo 2006, crit 2007
2007 draft was supposed to be one of the greatest ever, but turned pretty craptastic
three great players and a few role players in between busts

Yep. I wanted him over Farmar but someone (the nets?) took him.
