Don't think Iggy for Granger gets us anywhere. If we are getting Granger it's much like trying to get Kevin Martin in my mind. Get the guy who is a great fit next to Iguodala, but not at the cost of him.

Iggy and Granger / Martin would be perfect tandems, and it seems everyone would rather ship Iguodala out in hopes that Turner develops into Iggy so he can pair well with one of these guys. I'd much rather make a power move getting a Granger to go next to Iguodala at the expense of some of our future than make a lateral move like that.

Would you deal Iguodala for Oden's right of first refusal and Batum from Portland?

We all heard the Batum / Pryzbilla rumor, and we all know just how much of a risk that Oden is, but...I keep thinking about Big Z from Cleveland and Grand Hill and even Sam Bowie who had 4 or 5 pretty good years after he left Portland and got healthy.

We need a young big who can focus on the paint and be a presence in there. Even an 80% Oden would do the job nicely.

If we could swing a Batum/Oden for Iggy, you take it on the spot. That puts Por into a legit playoff run (imo) and we should be able to maybe squeeze in with Turners improvement, and maybe even better next year if Oden's healthy.

Turner/Grander is almost as good as a Iggy/Martin tandom. But what your forgetting is the age and salaries of the tandoms.

If we did get Granger and kept Iggy nearly all of our money would be tied up in just three players on our roster. I dont see that being a smart basketball move unless those three players are Lebron,Wade, and Bosh

And plain and simple.Iggy is NOT worth that money and those years. Id still trade him for an expiring. Thad is just as valuable to this team but he makes far less money and dont try to be Kobe late in games

ET is replacing Iggy. Also you can't waste 13-15m a year on Iggy and hope to reach a championship.

U can say that because i will never be the gm. But if i was the gm I KNOW I would do a great job and have a championship contending team. Then you would be glad I was the gm. The first rule of business is to never overpay for decent players. Id overpay for the great ones but iggy is far from great. Iggy is a great defender and great on the break. Its foolish to spend 12-15 mil on a player whose limited to those two areas.

Yeah, that would be foolish. It's a good thing the Sixers have never done such a thing.

all he can do. He is horrible in the half court set. And this is what playoff basketball is all about.

Iguodala is a great defender is the half court set... A place where guys like Paul Pierce, Dwayne Wade, Lebron James, Luol Deng, and Joe Johnson do a lot of Damage.... Hmmmm

And how effective will he be in the halfcourt on the other end knowing he can't score in the halfcourt sets. Lets spend 13m on a defensive specialist that can run and dunk.

I turned it off after 2 minutes. The guy bashes Iguodala's offense in response to Thorn saying he's a lockdown defender? Brilliant.

In his lastplayoff series he averaged 13 points and shot 33% from the field. And he was the main focal point on the team. ON this team that was better then that team in 2008. I am sure he will do even less.

So lemme get this straight... You make the team better, so he'll do worse? That makes sense.

What are you talking about? In the 08-09 playoffs Iguodala averaged 21.5, 6.3, and 6.7 in 6 games on 45% with 39% from 3.

If you'd like to bash Iguodala that's fine, but please don't make things up.

Lol yeah the kid who made the video clearly didn't understand seeing as how he didn't even mention the word defense.

This is the best impression of a horrible NBA analyst with horrible mumbling, talking-point spitting, dilusional, dead wrong, illogical thinking I have ever heard.
