I hate watching this Kentucky offense. I'm switching over to watch Sullinger at 6.

Re: Official Raptors 2011 NBA Draft Thread, Part 2
You dont trade down from #1 before you select.
What you do is take best player available at #1, and if someone falls to say #5 (that you graded very highly aswell - needs to practically equal to ur #1 pick).. you make a call to that team on the clock to see if they are interested in trading for your player.
Price would be alot more then cash. It would have to be another young player with big time upsize and a 1st round pick.
This kinda trade almost never happens in practice.
If you get number 1, you stay at number 1

Draftexpress has Jones going 8th and Knight going 25th, so it's definitely doable as of right now. Btw, does anyone know if Knight and Irving have gone up against each other early in the season?
Jones reminds me of a Jeff Green/Odom kind of player and I think Knight can be a Rondo type of player.
Seriously?
Stars drive wins in this league. You can always fill out your roster later. Our whole roster except DD is a full of filler guys.
If you are in a position to draft a star, you always take the star. You never trade down.
Amen, I never seen any team trade down a top 3 pick anyways. And............how does Knight reminds us of Rondo.................that`s a tURRible comparison. Knight can shoot.

I`ve been waiting all day for Sulli, although Barnes had surprised me today...that was a hell of a good game to watch this afternoon.

Perry Jones is my favorite pick so far. Hes like a mix between TMAC Odom and Garnett plus he plays SF. I just don't feel Irving as much as everyone else but hed be my second choice.

He still seems more JJ Reddick than Curry to me.

Im really torn apart on Perry Jones. If he showed me legit range on his jumper then i would take a chance on him. Because if we draft perry jones, then its to become a SF. Im not sure he has the perimeter skills though.

You read that off a comparison from the Chad Ford mock draft... nice try.

The Raps badly need a top 5 selection. I'm just hoping most of the big guns (if not all of them..) decide to declare.

Ya so far I haven`t seen what he can really do...he only takes 1 or 2 mid-range jumper, most of his damages are done in the paint using his athleticism to rise up for a tip in or lays it in close or dunks in transition ...never seen him blow by anyone yet...so I`m not too high on him either. Do we really have to pick him if we have the 2nd pick

He might have elite athletism and length but im not sure he uses it right. Hes only averaging 0.9 blocks per game. I dont see the blow by ability neither, he can beat pf's off the dribble but he would have a difficult time beating them.

And the worst part is he lacks killer instinct...
How is he going to change the game for us!!!!!!!!

I wasn't aware of his weight. Just know he is listed at PF. So he likes his cheeseburgers.

I think he changed from double bacon cheeseburger to just cheeseburger. He lost alot of weight, he used to be over 300 pounds in high school
