all those excuses are weak attempts to mask the fact the team is terrible...even on their best night they'd still get beat.

They are a terrible team. Did you think they would win 50 games with Ted attempting to get another high draft pick and only signing a gimpy Josh Howard as his top free agent signing? Of course not.

Flip should pick up two techs and get thrown out of this game. It's bad enough that you have a tired team, but this young official has been as bad as I've seen all year. You allow murder in the paint, but you don't allow screens and that Hinrich call was beyond bad.

I have refrained from commenting on Flip. On this I concur 80s. The coach could help the team by being demonstrative when opponents set illegal screens and get away with it.

Likewise, if Seraphin is healthy him giving hard fouls can be strategic.

Last, it's too bad the Wizards have no stars and no floppers. Refs just kill the Wizards.

I've had to enact the unconscionable initiative of working mornings for about the last two weeks with that not doing much for live B-Ball watching from the Asian timezone. So I'm all kinds of backed up with about ten hours of tape delay, but it's nice to see Booker beat out Yi and get some extended burn due to McGee's swine-flu or whathaveyou. On that note, I might whisper that it was a fortuitous happening were Yi to take a few swigs of Gatorade from McGee's Dixie-cup.

Things are confused by us most likely drafting a big, but it seems a reasonable premise that we could go into 2012 with him as the backup 4 given how he's responded to emergency minutes.
