GT: Rockets vs. Spurs

When: 8:30 PM ET, January 29, 2011
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX

Starting Lineups:

Rockets:
PG - Kyle Lowry
SG - Kevin Martin
SF - Shane Battier
PF - Luis Scola
C - Chuck Hayes

Spurs:
PG - Tony Parker
SG - Manu Ginobli
SF - Richard Jefferson
PF - Tim Duncan
C - Dejuan Blair

Well coming into this one we haven't lost a game at home since November and I'd like to see us keep that streak going. But this will be our last home game in a while, our next 9 games leading up to the All-Star break will be on the road.

The Rockets have been struggling a bit lately and if we're going to beat them we're going to have to play some very good defense. Shutting down Kevin Martin is going to be the key to this one. We can't let him get to the line and we can't give him open looks.

Bonner will this game, that's 6 straight games he's missed with that knee injury. Brad Miller will be out for the Rockets.

Go Spurs!!

I cant see the rockets slowing down our offense, if this one turns into a shootout we should get an easy win IMO.

Key to this game: Defense.

They are a good scoring team, but with poor defense. Offense will finally drop, but defense will make the difference..

Lazy first half for the Spurs. We can't just expect to beat these guys without any effort.

Every time we play the Rockets, I'm reminded of what could have been with Scola. Damn he's a great player.

Good game. It was all about defense and we did a pretty good job at the end of the 3rd, start of the 4th quarter..
Blair had a good offensive night. He's fast and had great hands and body control. He's really stepping up his game. That pick and roll with Manu is just money.

Good to see James Anderson on court.
