This has been a major problem all season. Nash is still phenomenal and puts the rest of the team in perfect positions to get very easy points and they blow it more often than not.

This is what we miss most about Amare...he was the best finisher.

I AGREE. Lopez could have gotten 20 pts in the 1st quarter with all those easy feed Nash gave him

Thats Robin Lopez for you, hes named Robin for a reason, he was riding his brothers coat tails all the way to the NBA. Too slow of his feet for the pick n roll, doesnt box out half the time, and doesnt finish well, nor catch passes well.

I'd rather be named Robin than Brook, that's for damn sure.

Of course. No way the NBA suspends KG for the Celtics / Lakers matchup today. I'm sure he could've done a lot worse and still not been suspended.

So Lopez has a good game and people are saying "HE SHOULD HAVE HAD AN EPIC GAME!!111!1!! BUST!!!!"

This would be funny if it wasn't also sad.

There are games that I think Robin isnt used the correct way. Even on games when he has great scoring 1st quarters, and isnt in foul trouble, he gets pulled, dosent play again untill the start of the second half, for a few mins, and never gets in again. How the HELL can you expect him to play hard and motivated, when even if he does, his mins. are going to be spotty no matter what. Usually when a player has it going, you ride that hot hand until the wheels come off, or he gets too tired or foul trouble, these rules dont apply to Robin it seems. Maybe with Gortat showing the shot and pick and roll ability to play the 4 for streaches, Robin can see more time, and learn to elevate his game instead of thinking no mattert what I do, I'm coming out anyway!

And did you notice, Nash got Robin off to a great game, as sometimes happens. Then Gortat gets going royally with Nash, racking up the easy points, everything is flowing with the big guys. Goran comes in, and the big guys scoring basically STOPS unless they get a rebound put back, one on one post up or 15 to 18 foot jumper. We then start to rely on people like Pietrus, VC, Fry or Goran to hit jumpers. Our ofensive flow gets terrible when Goran comes in unless he absolutley attacks the rim with wild abandon, and there are too many times that he dosen't. We need Goran to beat his man off the dribble and create havoc in the paint for cutters and rollers ala Kevin Johnson for him to be effective. When he gets the clamps put him on D, he becomes useless because his paly creating abilities have taken a vacation compared to what they were last year and the begining of this year.

I hate his play. Always have been a fan of him since day 1 in his UNC days. I'll always support him, but I can criticize him can't I? (It's not like I think he's perfect or anything. I hate alot of things about the guy.)

I don't see the sense on hating the guy due to his poor play in those games. It was reported the guy was playing hurt, which explains the drop in production. The coaching staff should've put his ass on the bench and gave dudley/peaches his minutes until he recovered. Regardless, judging by his last 2 games he seems to be feeling better.

I know suns fans aren't happy with vince because it's been reported he doesn't wanna be in Phoenix, but you can't expect any player to be happy about going from a contender to a middle of the pack team, especially a veteran. OK, Gortat's happy, but thats because he's finally getting major minutes and a chance to show what he can do. And lets be real people, why should he be happy? Did anyone think he was gonna be a sun past this season when he arrived? Look, other than this 4 game stretch where he re-aggravated that knee the man has played well for the suns. And while the team may not be better with him, they're also no worse (.500 team before he got there, .500 since). Who cares if he's happy about being here, he's not gonna be here long enough for that to matter. All that matters is that he stay professional and puts in his work on the court, and for the most part he's been doing that.

@ rvm. dont let what others say make you judge your favorite player more hard than normal. vince is no different than any other player. he has good games he has bad games. he does draw more criticism than any other player that i know of, not named latrell sprewell, though. i look at it like this, there are gonna be times that he is gonna play lackluster, and there are gonna be times that he is doing it up. welcome to sports. sometimes people get pumped up sometimes not. you have to factor in the fact that on your job, there are times that you dont want to work. as much as i love steve nash, i can see times where his passes are not as crisp, his drives are not as clean, and he looks like he would rather be at home, and this guy has more drive than anybody[imo.] vince is playing pretty good ball, some games he just doesnt have it. i enjoy watching him play, but at times, sitting at home, i say i would have done that different vince.
