I hope that Jim is not next season in the team, if so what is your favorite coach for the job?

My candidates are three

Mark Jackson
Eddie Jordan
Pat Ewing

I would love to see Larry Brown back to help us rebuild over the next few years.

the change needs to be in combination with a roster change to...It is time to play for next year...meanwhile we can still make the playoffs this year.

Move Dunleavy...highest value in years.
Foster...Tyler needs more PT and needs to develop we don't need the road block, unless it is a hihger upside player.
Ford.. not worth his paycheck...

Keep our draft pick...unless we can trade it lotto protected.

There is a report circulating that either Mike Brown or Ty Corbin are the favorites to replace Vogel, at the end of the season. Right now it's too early to predict who will be here, but I bet ya Mike Brown has already agreed to take over next season.

Even when the Pacers initially hired him, they gave him an unusual job title of associate head coach, that's what swayed him to come here. The timing is right and he would be a perfect fit, I'm not mad.

Just can't think of anyone else I like as much as these two guys. Stephens is just such an impressive sounding guy. Hire him and maybe he holds the job the same way as Jerry Sloan has in Utah. Mike Brown's situation reminds me a little of Tony Dungy in Tampa. Today when you consider the Cleveland situation now and the behavior of LeBron this summer I think you get a sense of what Mike Brown had to deal with.

He would be great. A high profile, proven commodity. Bet Simon would like that possibility too. He and Larry together would be interesting. That's two pretty massive egos.

I've actually seen Mike Brown deal with players in the locker room, during the Brawl days when we had to put a squad of scrubs out there. I would be happy with him as the head coach.

Obviously, I think Mike Brown is the hands down favorite. Other guys could enter the picture, but he's the guy out there to keep an eye on, but also will likely be the big name this next off-season as well.

Without a question. We were a train wreck 4 years ago. And, our outlook will look even brighter if the rumors of Pritchard coming in as GM become true.

Oh, absolutely 8. A roster with Granger, Hibbert, Collison, Hansbrough, Paul George, a 1st round pick, etc, are all better pieces than what we had back when Obie was hired.

Alternatively, our team when Obie was hired had Granger, David Harrison, Ike Diogu, and Shawne Williams as the youth, with a beat up JO, Murphy, Dunleavy, Tinsley, and Foster on the roster.

I like our roster right now, with a ton of cap space, a whole lot better.

Phase 1 is done. Phase 2 is make a deal at the deadline. Phase 3 sign a big FA or two.

He was never very vocal on the floor, but he certainly is a leader. But he lead more by example than anything. Also, I think he likes his gig announcing.

Hmm? I don't get this. He wasn't quite Mark Jackson in terms of directing his teammates, but I can't say there was ever a minute where he wasn't EXTREMELY vocal on the floor.
