So is Jackson's and Wallace's, so it makes DJ good option on our squad, as he is the best offensive force.

If DJ, Jackson, AND Wallace are all playing bad D, then why aren't our opponents scoring more points? Oh wait, they're not playing bad D, it's just that last year's D was amazing and this looks bad by comparison. I think we're in the top ten defensively, IIRC.

DJ isn't a "good" defender, but he isn't that bad either. He's not a defensive hole or anything, and he does well getting help from his teammates on that end, which is important. He could easily improve in this area.

I wouldnť do that.

I don't if JD's defense is better htan Curry's but simply we already have DJ, they can't play together defensively and both are too god to be just 2dn PG from the bench. And I enjoy watching DJ so i would rather build around him not building by replacing him.

DJ is playing great and yes Steph's d is equally as poor as DJ's, Beans is useless IMO

with our draft history, I have zero faith the draft pick would equal anything

That being said I think MJ would be all over this, Steph would put people in the seats and has the national "star" potential that MJ is looking for.

DJ, Steph, Jack, Diaw, Kwame with T2, Hendu, Beans, MC, Liv is pretty exciting to me

This is crazy talk, DJ is not as good as Curry. I'm also not sure why this is relevant, just let Curry play the 2 and have a pretty sick backcourt. I don't see why they wouldn't be able to coexist.

That said, the deal is crazy even if it were legal. Biedrins' contract is ludicrous, there is no way we can take that back in a Wallace deal, plus Charlie Bell has 4m coming to him next season. Giving up a lottery pick in order to take on salary, for a piece that isn't exactly putting us over the top? No thanks.

Steph is better than DJ in just about every facet of the game, and yes, that includes his defense. However, there's no way I'd do the proposed deal.

I'd consider Curry, Beans, Dorrell Wright, Pick

for

Crash, DJ, Hammer

Curry has no chance at guarding legit 2s in this league. Imagine him trying to guard, oh I dunno, Jax?

fatlever wrote:as a huge huge curry homer i doubt i would do this deal right now because
a) curry and dj are too similar and i wouldnt want to play them together so unless we had another deal to move dj then it wouldnt work
b) beans is ALWAYS injured. when healthy he has value but he is never healthy

that being said... the people suggesting that dj is better than curry now need to step back from the kool-aid just a tad. dj has been fantastic since silas came here, but curry is simply a better all around player, better shooter, better passer and better defender. the only reason their numbers are similar this year (since the coaching change) is because
a) curry had an awful ankle injury that has limited him
b) curry shares the backcourt with ellis

if the warriors called us today and offered us curry for dj straight the bobcats would be all over it.

True. DJ was underrated and is doing well, but Curry's a more talented PG. That...gets irrelevant fast if the idea is to use Curry as a SG. There's a lot of his best qualities matter less and matchups would be more difficult.

There is no #1 pick to trade...shooting this down. Just as Augustin was a nice surprise for the Bobcats,Dorell Wright was a nice surprice for GSW,a guy paid around $3 mill who's numbers are not far from Wallace's..and he's younger. Whether injured to much,underused,uncoached...whatever...Biedrins is the only C GSW has...and a half year of Nazr won't do much to offset that. GSW fans are numb to the effects of sloppy, lazy coaching and bonehead moves by the front office. Biedrins is the same age as rookie Udoh...so it's damn silly to just dump him without any other option in place.

For the Bob's,Wallace has been the face of the franchise. Were they a contender,or a big market,or even not around winning college teams, The Bob's could shuffle players (as GSW has) randomly. They need to be putting butts in the seats however. If G Wallace goes,it has to bring in a deal the fans get behind.
CENSORED... No comment.

Obviously our opinins differ on Steph, DJ just like every fans opinions differ on Kobe, LeDouche.

So it would be fair to say let's all agree to disagree.

The addition of the 1st kills this for me. Plus, I want no part of Biens contract.

OK, someone's got to say it so maybe it should be me... but while Steph is a great announcer, seems to have an awesome personality, etc. She is far from hot. I mean, she's OK but where does this obsession come from. Does Mrs. Slam know about this? Say you love Raymond Felton or I'm telling her.

Rich, you're crazy. That woman is very attractive, especially for someone who wasn't hired as eye candy.

Slam would pull his "the is the only thing reminding me Australia" and would be ok :D

I am more going with the flow than being in her fanclub, she is attractive but more importantly she knows what she's talking about a do a great job for the Bobcats. Better than Martin for sure.

The post was more inspired by me still not being used to "Steph" being used as a short form for Stephen-like guys name as I always read it as Stepahnie or Stephenie (hello Palau) at first.

She's attractive, yeah, but I wouldn't fawn all over her. She's no Melanie Collins, Jenn Sterger, or Michelle Beadle
