I'm still waiting to hear the answer to my very serious Paul Hogan question.

I hate the Bucks.

I don't know what it's like for you guys, but I can only get 4-5 games of NBA on TV a week. 2 on ESPN on Thursday and Saturday and then 1 on Wednesday and usually 2 on Friday on One HD. When 1-2 of those games is wasted on the Bucks just because of Bogut, who's never done anything for the national team anyway, I just get so annoyed. I mean, play something good.

Although I did see the Utah and NOH games against the HEAT early in the season. That was awesome, watching it in HD. I wish my pie was like that :(

His walkabouts are confined to Australia now, thanks to a little tax evasion.

Same here. We got a few Wolves games on one hd last season because we had Jawai. That's why I was hoping Kahn would sign Patty Mills so we'd see a few more games.

Yeah mate, i would definately get over there asap! I didn't go directly from Melbourne. I was snowboarding/backpacking through canada for about 6 months, and on my way home i spent a month in the states, got a bus from Vancouver to Seattle then a flight to Minneapolis. Domestic flights in the states are pretty cheap, and i think you can get a pretty cheap flight from aus with Virgin V Australia.
I stayed in a pretty dire hostel in South Minneapolis called the Minneapolis International Hostel, pretty cheap but thats all, really depends on your budget.
I was in Minneapolis for a week, saw the three games, went and saw the Wild play the panthers in St.Paul, and saw the gophers play @ the metro dome, really good timing with the sports i had on offer in the week.
Ps. Get in contact with someone from the organization about tickets etc... they helped me out with cheap lower bowl tickets etc... hope thats some help!

**** you

I hate that blone haired little ****... nothing but a chucker who couldn't win **** in Australia either.

I started following the wolves because I was living in Apple Valley when Luc Longley was drafted.

We all know you are a closet Shane Heal fan. It's OK to admit it here. You're among friends.

There are 4-5 NBA games a week on TV in Australia?? That is just mindblowing. I mean, some college kids talk about cultural hegemony and a few other people take it seriously, but what a real-life example.

It's made worse by the fact that they're live, so it's the middle of the day for us. And while I've got a Tivo-type thing for my pay TV and ESPN, there's nothing like that for the other channel so, on average, I can watch 3 if I'm lucky.

But basketball isn't very big over here so I'm not surprised.

I've been a Raptors fan ever since we got a team, but my first favorite team was the Timberwolves. I followed them from expansion through the Garnett era, and felt horrible when KG went to Boston.

now, before I get "cool story, bro"d, i just want to say you guys have a good young squad, some great pieces, and a top pick in this year's draft. Even if by some chance Rubio decides he wants to play somewhere else, you'll be handsomely compensated. Beasley and Love are great, and Johnson's starting to put it together. I'm excited to see how you guys develop over the next few years. Rebuilding takes time, but it'll be worth it.

Aussies love an underdog, right?

It definitely seems to take a certain kind of crazy to root for this team...

I hope none of you have been affected by the floods either

I was stuck in my suburb for like, 4 days  but apart from that I was fine.

wow kirk penny, dominating in the nbl, there is a little nz-minny conection... RICK RICKERT playing for the nz breakers. Although he doesn't play there now, there still is a little connection.

Crazy, I'm a Wolves/Bogut fan from Melbourne too. I've been following them on this site (and previously twolvescentral) for a long time. High-fives! :)

Seems like there are a lot of Australian fans around here.
