Jazz in: Dalembert

Kings out: Dalembert
Kings in: Crash

Bobcats:

AK47 - Miles
Milsap - Elson
Dalembert - Okur

Kings:
Udrih - Jeter
Evans - Casspi

I would say yes to it but why would the Jazz give up on Big Al?

Yeah they need something to make that trade worth it. Maybe something like a pick. But if we got Al Jefferson we would be rolling.

I wouldn't see it as "giving up" on him, more maximizing their rosters potential.

The Jazz aren't "working" right now, and haven't been for a while (3-7 over their past 10). Personally, and I said this from the start, I think a lot of it has to do with their bigs being way too much alike. Jefferson, Milsap and Okur would work better playing next to a shot blocking rim protector.

Enter Dalembert.

Out of Big Al, Milsap and Okur the one with the worst contract is Big Al (length and amount) so to me, he would be the most logical to move (plus I love him). On top of that, Dalembert is an expiring so if he works out they could look to sign him on the cheap over the summer as a long term solution OR they could go after someone like Tyson Chandler to replace him (imagne that, Chandler would have played with Paul, Kidd and D.Will. Only Nash to go then to colect the set!!).

I think an AK-47 - Milsap - Dalembert front court is a better mix of skill set than a AK-47 - Milsap - Jefferson front court is.

DITTO. Jazz may regret making the investment but obtaining Sam and his big expiring doesn't seem to fit their strategy of surrounding Williams with more quality to keep him around.

I think Dalembert's $13 million dollars coming off their books at the end of this season would be compensation enough?

What if they used that cap space over the summer to sign Chanlder or Marc Gasol?

Cats and Kings like it. And if the Jazz would do it for the cap space so they can go after a FA, then everyone would be happy. But the Jazz may be the sticking point on it.

It's true that they have the lure of talent for FA's.

Gasol would be a wet dream for Utah. Big, Slow and White. There would be a ticker tape parade, a Gasol day (where everyone would wear fake patchy beards), etc. Plus they like lumbering guys named Marc(k) - They would have visions of Mark Eaton dancing in their heads.

I can not see Utah doing this, but like it for us, and I am sure Sac will like as well

Kings may not want to do it the way Crash has played lately. His nickname now stands for is trade value.

Actually, speaking to my friend (a huge Kings fan), he hates the idea of bringing Wallace in. It would be a huge cap burden and there are better, healthier players that the Kings could acquire to pair next to Tyreke. Plus, as he mentioned, it wouldn't be smart to add anyone that gives them a better chance of winning games this season unless it's a prospect type player.

I think you would have to send Crash to Utah and AK-47 to Sacramento for a trade to be considered on their end.

Sacramento gets one hell of a deal. They'd have to add something else going Utah's way for them to consider it. We get fair value.

Where would Landry go?

We don't need him in Charlotte with Boris and T2.
They don't need him in Utah with Milsap.

No joke Slam, i was playing with the idea of a trade with Utah last night at work, was a slow night and it just hit me. Involving the Kings makes it better. My trade:

Charlotte in: AK, Al Jefferson

Utah in: Wallace, Doris.

Something like that.

But after going through the TM it goes like this:

Charlotte in: Al Jefferson, AK

Utah in: Wallace, Carroll, Doris, Nazr

Utah why?

The froncourt of Al and Millsap isn't meshing/working together as well as they would've hoped for. Like Slam pointed out, their skill sets are too similar. Acquiring a shot blocking presence like Dalembert would place Millsap back on the radar as one of the elite power forwards in the game.

I don't think Sac would do it though. They already have enough wings on their roster.

Also Kings spelt "Knigs" could have misunderstood racial tones if you get my drift.
