We have to do something; I don't want to waste Gortat's prime years. Gortat's offense is highly depended on Nash...sooooooo we need to keep Nash for a few more years or get a PG like him; and that guy lives in GS......

yep, this team always does that. acquires the perfect players a year too late. if we had gortat last year we would have won the championship for sure. he is beastly

but lets not overrate him too much tho because when nash is gone i have a feeling he will regress somewhat largely on the offensive end because nash spoonfeeds him in the perfect spot sooooo many times. no other pg that we ever replace nash with can be as good as MVSteve

Yes, but at least Gortat is looking like he can keep from spitting up all over himself, to continue the 'spoonfeeding' metaphor.

Chandler is more athletic and better around the rim than Gortat (in terms of straight elevation). He's a better rebounder and a better defender too. Gortat has only just started learning to play the PnR with an all-star PnR PG so we'll see where that goes but as of right now, Chandler is a much better PnR guy just from his experience with CP3. Gortat has a little bit more range on his shot, but it's still far from something we can depend on.

Overall, Gortat still has some ways to go before he's on Chandler's level on either ends of the court. The only advantage Gortat has over Chandler right now is health. Chandler has gone through a few seasons of injuries and this is the first season in a while has he been this healthy.

+1. Yes, let's not get crazy here. Gortat is playing well and shows some real potential

There is a first part of interview with Marcin for polish tv. The most funniest moment is in the 6th minute, when reporter said: "You were in Orlando, in one of the best team in the league. Now you are in Phoenix, one of the worst team in the league (yes, he really said that). What do you expect from yourself"? Marcin answer: "In the last time media made a opinion, what they want to see. I was a role player, I played generally in defense, where I rebound and block shot, so I won't score 25 points and 15 rebounds". And next day he had 25/11 ;)

Sorry for my poor English
