That was a squeaker .... I had cold chills at the end but we made it through.

Gortat looking like no fluke, glad to see Pietrus getting minutes. I know he can be a bonehead but I have liked his game since he was on that great Warriors team. I will trust Hill to make the right decision on the court 99+% of the time.
Nash had a couple of brainfart moments but he's handling the ball about 35 minutes out of 48
Duds again doing all the little things.
Hakim again out of control. He really dopes look like someone broke into his locker and swapped in some Flubber shoes. EJ pointed out that he just goes right over people to get to the rim, and not in a good way. Maybe we could find him a coach?

Good laughs at Steve's quotes about Dragic's "Slovenian raves" at his house ....

I am finished with my brief period of not caring whether we win, telling myself this is a team rebuilding and just to suffer through it. We seem to be building some chemistry, the defense is much improved, guys are finding each other with the extra pass - I see a future. Gortat, Nash, MP, Frye, Duds - that's a good core to build on

Great game, gortat looked great! I liked Vince's energy early on. Dowdell wasn't too bad. We played good interior D, they missed a lot of easy layups including the most important one at the end.

man that is crazy. i was at the game and left with like 35 seconds left after new orleans fouled nash down by like 6 and then i get in the car and i see new orleans had a chance to win at the buzzer. i saw the highlights after and i wish i stayed lol. man just proves that its never over til its over hahaha. if suns lost that game like that season would for sure be in the trash.

Mea Culpa: I was very much wrong about Dowdell. He did good, except for that airball and i think in that case he just was so shocked at how open he was he couldn't believe it. He ran the offense well, drew the defense and passed out nicely, not at all the chucker I recalled.

I wouldn't be upset if we kept him the rest of the way. I also really want another PG so we can play Dragic with Nash more.

dowdell was really good. better choice to give him some minutes than letting dudley be the pg like in the past

I would fully support signing Dowdell for the rest of the season. He is a different Zabian Dowdell than the one that played for our Pre-Season team. I like his quickness, and he also seems to have good court vision. His defence wasn't bad either. He kept Chris Paul pretty quiet while on the court.

I think it would be a "feel good story" if Zabian gets a full year contract with us. The guy has had it rough. Went undrafted on draft night, despite being projected to go as high as 27th. That's gotta hurt your confidence
