When: 10:00 PM ET, February 1, 2011
Where: Rose Garden, Portland, OR

Starting Lineups:

Spurs:
PG - Tony Parker
SG - Manu Ginobli
SF - Richard Jefferson
PF - Tim Duncan
C - Dejuan Blair

Trailblazers:
PG - Andre Miller
SG - Wesley Matthews
SF - Nicolas Batum
PF - LaMarcus Aldridge
C - Joel Przybilla

Tonight is the first game of the rodeo road trip and its going to come against the banged up Trailblazers. The key to winning this one is going to be stopping Aldridge. He's been playing great lately and leading the Blazers to some big wins. To stop him we're going to have to contain him off the pick and pop and we can't give him open jumpers.

Matt Bonner will be making the trip but he won't play against the Trailblazers.

Brandon Roy and Marcus Camby will be out for the Trailblazers.

Go Spurs!!

I hope we can pull this one out, but it seems to me at Parker struggles against Andre Miller whilst both Aldridge and Wes Matthews will have big game against the Conference best. I expect little from Jefferson and Blair, I think this will come down to Duncan and Ginobili pulling out a big game.

If we can dominate the boards in this game I think we can guarantee a victory.
Which Big Three has won the most championships?
Tim, Tony and Manu.

From our perspective, the Blazers seem to be playing pretty poorly over the past week, but they tend to play very competitively with the best teams, so we will see what happens. I think that your team is not necessarily the best basketball team in basketball, but I have never seen a smarter basketball program from bottom to top, and that translates to wins. Interesting game for Blazers fans

Aldridge is too good. You can't stop Texas players.

Aldridge killed us in the 2nd half.

He killed us in the 1st quarter too, he had 16 points. He's got so much more freedom with Roy on the sidelines, we're getting a chance to see how great he can really be. I hope he makes the AS team, he deserves a spot over TD.

If Aldridge, Gibson, and Tucker had stuck around for another year, the 2007 Texas lineup would have been Aldridge, Tucker, Gibson, Durant, Augustin = Undefeated National Championship!
