OT: Tickets to the Wolves/76ers on Feb 12th

Post#1 » by revprodeji » Tue Feb 1, 2011 8:13 pm

This is incredibly OT and I am sorry if people are offended or see this as spam.

I coach basketball and my 13 yr old brother plays for a rival school. Neither of us have a game on Feb 12th and Iggy is his favorite player. I really want to take him to the game and get good seats. I am looking for any deals that anyone might know, or if someone is a season ticket holder that is not planning to go and would sell them at a discount. We were not able to go to a game this year or last year with our goofy schedules.

Thank you, I really appreciate it.

PeeDee and I got upgraded for that game and I think we still have our regular tickets. I'll talk to him.

The seats may not be to your liking, but I personally think they are the best seats for the money.

Section 211, row C, seats 3 and 4. Lower part of the upper bowl, smack dab in the middle of the court. And you get to experience Ramon Sessions Girl.

Thank you

I will keep that under consideration. If you still have the tickets, how much would you be selling them for? I would prefer lower level, and might just buy some 65 straight up, but I am trying to consider all the options.

Never used them, trustworthy?

Do they mail the tickets to you or how does it work?

I've never used them either, but I hear good things. I think most of the tix are available for instant download, so I guess you just print them out? It seems like they always have pretty good deals.

EDIT: It looks like the ones that aren't available for instant download you have to pick up at a "designated stub hub last minute service center". It says that they give you the address before you purchase your tix. I would assume it is somewhere pretty centrally located?

If you do go through them, let me know how it works out. I have been thinking of trying it out myself.

Yea, there is something where I can pay 16 bucks for FedEx overnight.

I found some decent ones. I am tempted to get them.

Is there any chance they go down in price? If I wait too long and they cannot ship can I get them at will-call?

StubHub offers toll-free customer service 7 days a week. If you have any questions, feel free to contact StubHub by email or phone.

Email: customerservice@stubhub.com
Phone: 1.866.STUBHUB (1.866.788.2482)

I would give them a jingle just to make sure.

I've heard StubHub is pretty reliable from a few.

You can always try a scalper prior to the game, but it's riskier. I'll be out in Cleveland tomorrow night (weather willing) and if I get in early enough I'm going to try Pacers-Cavs game. Just for the heck of it since I'm staying near the arena They had a courtside for about $130 still available through the team website, so curious to see what I can get on the street.

I wanted my first post on here to be something like "no" at a perfect time, but I figure I could waste a year of reading every thread and not posting on this.

Have you tried craigslist? I went to the Magic game this year and got 2 $40 tickets behind the hoop for $20 a piece and last year against the Thunder (the first Darko game) I got 2 tickets, row C lower level for $25 a piece... it'd be worth a shot. It's mostly season ticket holders that don't want to go to the game. If you wait til the day before or of the game you should get a real good deal

Damn, I got a deal a month or so back that I bought 2 frozen pizza's and got 2 free wolves tickets to whatever game out of a list they had. I ended up taking the Portland one on valentines day, don't think it's still going though, or of that game was on there.

A couple weeks ago Eyeteeth, my girl and I picked up 3 lower level tickets for $10 each from one of the guys standing right outside the arena just before gametime. They have hundreds of tickets on them, very good deals. If you get yourself downtown I'm sure you can get a good ticket, probably much cheaper then stubhub. Just FYI ;)

If you ever need tickets in the future - our tickets are in section 131 mid-court about half way up. We usually sell about 60% through StubHub and to friends. We sell them for pretty much what we pay for them.

StubHub has been very reliable for us.
I've been a fan since the beginning and I will be until my end.
