"Stephen A. Smith is returning to ESPN as a local radio host and ESPN.com columnist. The Lakers GM said they are looking to improve the roster. Anthony is the top player available so they have to be at least considering making an offer. It's also hard to imagine Melo no wanting to extend in LA.

I wouldn't trade Bynum because Bynum and the current group have a chance to continue to win championships for the next 2-3 years at the minimum. So no, unless I'm getting Dwight then I don't trade a 23 YEAR OLD Bynum. Melo is a super star but it's not all about Melo.

yeah, that shows you how often he's gonna be on. not a sweet gig by any means for him. but i guess he's basically starting over.

Why did Stephen A / ESPN part ways in the first place? (That Quite Frankly show bombed!) I always thought the relationship was damaged, baby steps though

I think this may be the strongest statement he's made in regards to "trade me now or lose me for nothing". Denver should "be cautious".

Let's make it clear the only discount Melo is taking is whatever the new CBA brings. I doubt he takes lower than whatever the new MAX will be. And I doubt it's offered. But if it happens I'll be impressed. I imagine it would be something Melo brings up and not DW.
