To be honest, I just don't think so because we struggle so much on the road - If we can win on the road, then it's a different story. Also, because you can't forget that Memphis has been playing so damn well lately, and is beating seemingly everyone. Phoenix, Houston and GS, in general, are good teams who seem to keep winning. They need to all go on big losing streaks if we have a chance.

If we were on the East, then we would certainly have a 7th or 8th seed in the playoffs, not only because of the bad records, but because of the fact that there are so many bad teams that we would get to face.

I thought that we had topics that talked about this already, oh well. I think in order for us to make the playoffs we need to learn how to win on the road. As of right now we only have 3 road wins. We had a good month of January, but we didn't win any road games. The big road trip is coming up, that will make or break our season. We also need to get healthy, we have some injured players that could really help us. The good thing about these injuries is that it should strengthen our bench. Once Kaman, Smith, and Gordon come back we will have a better bench.

We need to go on a great run to make the playoffs, it will be tough. However I do think it should really help us for next season as long as we bring back most of our players.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

I wouldn't get my hopes up for the playoffs this season. Sure, we are very close with only being 6 out of the picture, but there is no room for mistakes. We made our mistakes to start the season and have left little slack for any at this point. We have to know how to win on the road and we don't. It can't really be a learning process, we have to actually go out and beat teams that we need to beat. Losing close games or letting winnable games slip away on the road is not acceptable at this point if you want to be a playoff team.

It's definitely possible and I would love to see us pull it off, but the team would have to give their all and go balls out.

I'm jumping on the bandwagon this season. Who doesn't want to follow the Blakers?

no, but they have to play really well. from this point, they have to go 23-11 to reach .500, and that's just the bare minimum to make the playoffs. they'd likely have to be a few wins better. basically, they'd have to play like a 55-60 win team the rest of the way. like others have said, that means going better .500 on the big road trip in february, closing out must-win games at home, and maybe stealing a few wins from the top teams. mathematically, it's very possible but i think it's a highly unlikely scenario. are they going to suddenly learn how to win on the road? they're 3-15 in that category, which is one of the worst in the league. the good news is that foye finally hit his groove and gordon will be coming back soon. kaman should also help a great deal when he gets back because this team really needs another big off the bench. the bad news is... well, i already mentioned it i guess.
