Johnson's Recent Improvement

I still think that both teams would have been better off if the 76ers took Johnson and we took Turner. Just much better fits for both teams since the 6ers need a shooter/spacer more and we need a ball handler/play maker/driver more. I still would do a swap, and might even throw in a late first for Turner.

Crazy talk. I don't care how bad a fit he is on the 6ers, he can't shoot! I wouldn't trade Johnson for Turner straight up much less throw in a late first.

This. As nice as it would be to have a ball handling 2 for our offense, a Turner/Rubio back court would be a huge liability with their shooting.

An Irving/Turner back court could actually be pretty good. Irving actually plays off the ball quite a bit for Duke and looks comfortable. On top of that, the way that Turner's been playing would actually help us get a high enough pick for Irving more than Johnson.
