Jokinen probably won't get traded.

Hopefully the next 1 hr to 1 1/5 hours is busy.

Other then that small rush between 11-12, there has been nothing. Last years trade deadline was so much more active.

It's not. Kessel was sent down so he could be eligible for the AHL playoffs if the Bruins don't make the playoffs.

On Dale and Holley today, they were talking about how Chiarelli had a deal in place, but could not sign the extension with Hossa, about a week ago.

Can anyone confirm this?

I got that from Sportsnet. What about you MAS?

I don't see this happening. I think Montreal and Ottawa will offer a better package. Shero has stated he doesn't want to give up the future for a rental player.

I got it on Hockey Central.

I'm really hoping the Habs get Hossa today, especially after losing Huet for next to nothing.

Multiple members of the Bruins front office are confirming the kessel will not be traded.

They are saying they have one thing in the works, and they will see how it works out.

Something tells me that no deal will be made with the bruins. Damn, another lump of coal. Oh well as long as we keep kessel, and didnt trade him for ****.

Chuck Fletcher, the Pens Asst GM, says Hossa to Pens rumors are not true.

I just can't see the Pens getting him. I think Atlanta will want a lot. Ray Shero has stated over and over that he won't mortgage the future for one season. I think Hossa for the Pens would be a one season player. They can't afford him long term. Ottawa and Montreal will both offer better prospects/players in the NHL than the Pens. Atlanta will probably look at Letang, Staal or Goligoski and Shero won't trade them.

For good reason because if Dan Boyle is worth 40 million then so is Brian Campbell.
