Indecision between Knicks brass wondering how hard they should actually go for Anthony before the deadline. Saying Carmelo is strictly a scorer and the Knicks have no problems there. Would much rather go after him as a FA, as the Knicks have many other pressing needs.

I take "more pressing needs" as they would rather use Curry, Chandler, Randolph, etc to get a pretty good center/back up point guard and then just go get melo in FA.
