Yes, since 18, 4 and 4 is such a terrible game...

6-18 for the game, 1-7 in the second half, and bad decision-making say "hi."

Ya I did. Who played better out of Price, CJ and Raja?

That's what I thought....

Also, he hurt his knee which could have effected him down the stretch so he gets a pass for that alone as far as I'm concerned.

And 18, 4 and 4 is still 18, 4 and 4 no matter how you look at it.

18 points on 18 fga is horrid. His shot selection is crap, he doesnt pass, and his defense is meh. He should not attempt the most shots on the Jazz. It seems as though Hayward already has a higher bball IQ than CJ.

It's easy to bag on Miles after this game, but honestly the offense in general was horrible, and he's often the safety valve when things turn to crap (as they often do lately). I didn't see too many bad CJ shots tonight.

And he played TONS better than Price or Raja. Would it kill Jerry to play CJ or Hayward at the 2? We used to hear all the time that the 2 and the 3 position aren't all that different in the Jazz's system, so why does Sloan continue to play the worst shooting guard rotation in the NBA?

So playing better than the two worst players for either team tonight make him worth it? Who played better out of CJ, Big Al, Millsap, Watson?

And you are absolutely right 18, 4 and 4 is still 18, 4, and 4. In the same respect, taking 18 shots to get there is still taking 18 shots to score 18 points. So ask yourself if 18, 4, and 4 is still 18, 4, and 4? Does it make a difference if a player gets that line taking 14 shots, or 40 shots? So stats aren't everything, unless you are of the Boozer mentality.

I get what you're trying to say but your missing the point. What other guard are you going to give the ball to in that situation? Specifically, which other 2 guard? The next best option is Hayward who is...oh ya that's right...a ROOKIE!!!!

Cmon guys, let's give him 6.5/18 since that last shot hit the rim. He at least consistently hits the rim. Rookies miss shots by default... DUH!

Actually I don't know why Hayward wasn't in the game there. The Jazz could've used a few more shooters on the floor.

The more I think back on this game, the more blame I put on the coaching staff. They didn't make any evident adjustments while the team anemically limped along through the 4th quarter, scoring a mere 8 points over the final 9 minutes of the game.

This is exactly my point. CJ has been in the league for YEARS and still plays with the offensive mentality of a rookie out of high school. Which is, if I get the ball it is my responsibility to shoot. Hayward at least would've tried to make something happen. And he sure as **** wouldn't have dribbled toward 3 defenders!

Even though Miles sucked it up in the 2nd, my ire is towards Price. Actually, my ire is towards Sloan for giving Price more minutes than Hayward in this game. I cannot comprehend why Hayward got only 14 minutes tonight.

I'd love to be rid of Price (and probably Bell) as much as the next guy. But no one infuriates me more than CJ Miles, whose idiocy and selfishness continue to redefine those two words with each passing game. I want him off this team as soon as possible, and I don't even really care if we get anything for him.
