43 bench points tonight for the Mavs and Dirk is giggling at the Bricks. Barea's defense sucks but his play on the offensive end has made up for it tonight.

Why is DIRK still in the game? The Knicks conceded when Rautins and Magic Randolph came in.

If Jones is going to attack the rim he needs to be aggresive. 113-97 Mavs good win and Dirk got to sit for some decent minutes not bad.

We would've won by 50 if Roddy was healthy

Just once though I wish we'd hold a 20 point lead through garbage time.

Good win. The Knicks are a talented team than can beat anyone at home. Having said that I'm not that surprised about the outcome. We've seen what happens when Amare is your anchor in the middle. You're going nowhere, They've got some nice pieces, but when a team like the Mavs rolls out Dirk, Chandler, & Haywood its too much for them. I'm not really sure how much Melo makes them THAT much better really? Obviously Melo is Melo, but whatever. I don't care.

The newer forums ballooned my post and nothing came of it. It's on the site for the newer boards not taking off!

Nastydaddy has everyone beat but I believe he stopped posting when he was finally told to stop posting new articles. His post count is 121,442: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=35431

I think nasty daddy had Pre beat with a large average. Pre stands alone because he actually posted his opinion and not just news articles like nasty daddy. I use to lurk mainly when the site was first established and Pre helped the growth of the site in a positive way.

For sure. I'm not really talking about post numbers, I've seen people in the 300K+ posts nowadays, but in 03-04 you just didn't see that kind of thing on the inner net. At one time he had something like 3% of the actual posts on the forum. He's doing well now, he moved to Houston actually. Gonna be on the supreme court one day.

So what is more amazing.... Amare scoring 21 in the 1st half and none in the 2nd? OR ahonui06 posting over 10,000 times and never using lower case letters in Dirk's name?

BTW, these NY anouncers are not "homer" byut they sure don't know the facts. At one time they said Bird and some other guys were the only 2 players to ever go 50/40/90 but Dirk could do it if he gtes his FT shooting up. Guess they did not realize Dirk also alreasy done that...in his MVP year.

Nash has done it since too right?

They way Dirk is shooting FTs I don't see him hitting 90% again unless he goes on one of his 60 somethings in a row streak.

In fact the entire team is shooting FTs like garbage all of a sudden.

nash has done it every year but the 1st since re-joined phoenix

what made dirk doin it so special was he and bird (maybe a couple others) was doing 50/40/90 while averaging over 20 a game

Nah I think they said Dirk has done it many times. Like four times or something.

Even in a blowout, dirk is in until two minutes to go int he game. Terry also. In games like this Dirk should be under 30 minutes. Mavs had huge lead in the second half yet the over 30 crowd has to play big minutes. I think Carlisle doesnt trust youngs or old reserves.

He kept them in until Dantoni took his guys out. It was the right thing to do imo with a team like New York. He could have maybe taken them out a minute sooner, but we're only talking about a minute or so.
