I think Silva is starting to slip and I am calling the upset. Belfort by KO
Forrest
Carlos Eduardo Rocha
Jones
Torres
Cerrone
Mendes

Gonna be a solid card, no doubt. Unfortunetely, I am not going to be able to watch this one. A first in ahwile, but still, bad timing.

I think a few people in this thread either don't know who Vitor is or are selling him REALLY short. He's the best striker Anderson has faced in UFC by a mile.

Vitor's fought three times in the last two years and has a career marred by inconsistency. Most people are aware that he has the skillset to be one of the greats, but I understand being skeptical of how he'll perform at this level. He hasn't fought this level of competition in years (aside from the win over Franklin).

He's the underdog and rightfully so.

I'm actually excited to see Ellenberger fight.

I think he's one of the more underrated welterweights, kind of lost in such a ridiculously talented division.

I agree to a point, but to say so stone cold that Anderson will "Destroy him" and things like that is pretty silly. It would be best to take Vitor down and control him on the mat and stay away from that punching speed/power, but every knows that's not what Anderson does, he stands and picks his spot to strike. So we may be looking at a kick boxing match, and in this case, Anderson has not faced a more dangerous opponent than this. Vitor has a better chance of beating Anderson than anyone he's faced.

I personally bought into the hype that Henderson would win, he didn't. I bought into the hype that Griffin would be able to beat him. I'm not going to do it again. I think that Silva will be able to counter all night long.

If Silva has proven one thing, it's that he manhandles strikers.
Vitor might be the best STRIKER he's ever fought, but Silva is the best overall FIGHTER that Vitor has fought in ages.
I don't see him winning, but again, I wouldn't count him out.
