I can't believe you are defending him either. Millsap slips the screen, which is essential in the Pick N' Pop, which the Jazz are known for, CJ dribbles into horrible position, and jacks up a garbage shot when he's been shooting 1-6 in the last 24 minutes, on what might be a bum knee... yep. Millsap's fault indeed.
Again, you're missing the point.

If Millsap sets the pick properly CJ doesn't have to dribble into the corner and chuck one up over Scola. He was forced into the corner because Millsap didn't set the pick right. Also, if you go and watch the play again you will notice Battier is right with Millsap and if CJ would have thrown the pass he would have thrown it right to Battier and not Millsap.

All I'm trying to say is that you can't solely blame CJ for being forced into a bad shot at the end of the game.

Watch the play again. Battier loses track of Millsap right around the time CJ begins to dribble in the corner. Millsap was wide open running towards the basket. It wouldn't have taken a Stockton-esque pass to get him the ball in the paint with nobody in immediate position to contest.

I don't understand the CJ hate either. Listen, he is brought in to provide a spark on offense. He is basically our only "shooter" (as depressing as that is to many). The coaches understand that and obviously have given CJ the green light.

I agree with happyprole though, these losses really don't effect me too much. Used to be that a jazz loss would ruin my day, but now its just unfortunate, but no big deal.

- Easy layups and completely open jumpshots missed, is as simple as that... this is the NBA and you won't win much games without mak'em.
- If you want a particular play, I think Jefferson should have blasted Martin on the floor... just to send himto the FT line a llittle bit hurting, and of course to avoid a 3 oint play... that's what guys that want to win do... but Al fail to do it...what do you think Bynum or Artes would have done there?
