D'antoni has to be drooling over CJ. Maybe we can get a future unprotected pick from them! Oh wait... Thomas isn't calling the shots there anymore is he. Drats... so close.

Haha! Oh, Thomas...

What do you suppose CJ's legit trade value is? Ronnie Brewer type situation? More? Less? I imagine there's someone out there willing to make a mistake.

CJ would have been great if it weren't for 4 completely (Please Use More Appropriate Word) shots he decided to take. I remember every single one. He's great when he plays in the offense.

Honestly, I think he has some value to someone. D'antoni loves shooters who just plain shoot. However, the first time CJ put the ball on the floor and attacked the basket, he would be pulled. Don Nelson would've loved him in GSW for the same reasons.

Sadly, the very thing that is going to keep CJ in Utah for the foreseeable future is the very thing that brought him to Utah... being drafted out of high school. CJ is the prime example of why kids shouldn't drafted from high school. The kid has the talent, and the body. Unfortunately, his mind is years behind. I can't help but think that had CJ gone to college, even just for one year, how much better off he would be right now. CJ doesn't want his team to win nearly as badly as he wants to be the reason why his team wins. Some people might call that killer instinct... but without the talent, and brains to back it up... it's just hollow pride.

This.

Back to last action:
It was not drawn very well. Paul inbounded the ball and then sets the screen so CJ goes around the screen to the left side... where Al stands in low block!. That's a mistake. Al should stand in the right low post. In the result CJ runs into area where are Al and Raja. Raja smartly tries to clear out but it's Al and his defender who makes it impossible for CJ to attack the basket or make a pass to Paul. However CJ gets a good look and the ball rims out.

To me it's obvious that coaches made mistake if they did not start (and play for most of game) CJ and Hayward at SG and SF. Wings should have the ability both driving hard to the basket and shoot the ball from outside. Well and play Fesenko, he makes it easier for everybody...
I should be on Lacob payroll...

He did NOT have a good look and should have passed back to millsap or went hard to the rim.
When he went around the screen they switched and he Scola all over him, he was stuffed and had to huck up a rainbow that dang near hit the rafters.
He is a chucker pure and simple. I was disgusted when they gave him his last contract, and even more disgusted when they didn't move him to hang on to Mathews.
I would have rather they moved him and kept Ronnie Brewer.

We shouldn't ask him to play more than 24 minutes a night.

I've always said that if we are going to win and lose games by Miles, we aren't going to be happy with the result. We can't have him shooting the most shots per minute on the Jazz. When there's no Williams, Kirilenko, or Okur, I guess he'll have to take a bigger role. But Miles shouldn't have taken more shots than Jefferson or Millsap. He's been playing out of pecking order since the season started, imo.
In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.
