Trade exception for Gooden
(Basically Gooden for Kleiza and expirings + top 5 pick for Bogut).
Not bad as long as it's done after the season ends. We don't want Bogut making the pick worse.
Fair enough, but just know that Toronto probably wouldn't trade the 1st pick for Bogut, especially if they thought they could sign Perkins or Jordan without having to waste any money on Gooden.

Wait. Hasn't Bogut regressed to "meh" like levels? Some of these offers seem like over paying to me. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

A 26 years 7 footer, good defender, good rebounder and above average offensively center? No I don't think anyone is overpaying here.
How many 7 footers with all those qualities are in the league right now?

Interesting. I'd probably do it.

Jesus at OKC getting Bogut. That would scare the league sh*tless
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

Like the Detroit offer.
The Minnesota "anything besides Rubio and Love" is definitely intriguing, especially if it's Milicic/a good prospect (Johnson or Beasley or something?).

I really have no problem trading Rubio in a package deal to get Bogut if we are in a position to draft Irving (I at least want one hopeful NBA starting PG on our team next year). Darko + one of Rubio/first/Johnson works for me.
I am a bit reluctant to part with Beasley and would have to think about it if he is included. Plus, Id think youd rather have Johnson/1st/Rubio for contract reasons anyways - they have a lot more years left on their rookie deal, and I imagine that that would be pretty important to a franchise that has a lot of long-term terrible contracts.

Good defender doesn't do him justice. He's an elite defender; without question one of the top 5 in the NBA. In addition to leading the league in blocks per game, he also keeps a higher percentage of blocks in play than any of the other prolific shot blockers. He's always in the top 2 or 3 in charges drawn, and one of the best rebounders in the game. In addition to having great rebounding numbers, he's unselfish and boxes out a lot for his teammates to grab rebounds.
Offensively he was good last year, but really hasn't been this year, so who knows. Free throw shooting is horrendous.
As a Bucks fan, I don't want to hear about dumping bad contracts, or clearing cap space in a potential trade. Those things don't motivate me to buy tickets next year, and aren't fun to follow. It's not as if we're going to use cap space to sign Melo this summer, or CP3 the year after. I want blue chip prospects, or a top 5 pick. Otherwise, let Bogut play out his career in Milwaukee - there's value in that too. He won't lead us to a title, but he'll set all sorts of franchise records, and will probably have his jersey hanging in the rafters one day. I'll take that over acquiring cap space that we use to overpay non allstars.

Besides that Detroit offer this is probably my favorite.
Unless OKC would give up Ibaka/Harden which I don't think is all that likely.

I've loved Bogut's numbers, but I'll ask someone who knows the situation better -- are Bogut's back issues behind him?

Yes, he hasn't had any problems with it since the injury.

Nope. Its just his knee, his arm, his wrist, his head or his vagina now.

I'd trade Yao, Jared Jeffries, and 2 of C-Bud, J. Hill, C. Lee, T. Williams for him, Maggette, and Gooden. Although i don't know if I could deal with another often injured center.

Re: Andrew Bogut's Trade Value
An injury, bad moves by the GM during the off-season, bad team chemistry, and the Bucks board wants to trade Bogut. What a bunch of fair weather fans we have there.
Trading Bogut would be one of the biggest gaffs durning Herb Kohl's ownership.

Re: Andrew Bogut's Trade Value
Is he really shooting 41% from the foul line?? Would be an upgrade inside for the Sixers, but I wouldn't get too crazy...I'm guessing people would want some young talent as opposed to Iguodala or Brand. Lou/Speights/Songalia/lottery protected 1 for Bogut. Gives them some young talent inside and outside, and an expiring deal.

Wrong. Toronto would give up anything on the roster including Bargs AND Derozan for Bogut.

Pretty sure that Utah would take that immediately and then cry and crap themselves from happiness.
