The West Coast Team that gets the most coverage on ESPN is probably Gonzaga.

The FoxSportsNet deal is not good decision long term.

going for a rebound, he just hit his finger (which is in a cast) really hard against the rip and was in visible pain.

Last possession, he just had a near impossible play where he drove through 2 players to get a layup.

DW just fouled out.

the pac 10 hurts itself so much by refusing to care about the ref situation. Come tourney time, they are definitely not as prepared as they should be.

got the W. way too close of a game.

Oregon is destorying a very good washington state team right now.

oregon state is also up on a ranked washington team. Hopefully they can hold them off.

Watching the Zags game I am just surprised with Elias Harris. He has just stagnated as a sophomre (although he was an older int. freshmen last year). But he had first round pick all over him last year (he was arguably their best player at times), but his draft status has regressed.

Gonzaga has been a disappoint. Yes Bouldin was a nice player, but to return basically everybody else from an 8 seed - they should have been contending for a pod seed.

What's the expectation on Sacre? Stay or Go?

Larry Drew is leaving UNC. This will mean Harrison Barnes will play with Marshall more but will also mean one of their SG's will have to play some point and Barnes may play out of position too.

How many PFs do the Raptors need? Out of those 5 you just named, he's the player they need the least.

If your in the top 5 in the lottery you better be picking best player available, Sullinger could be that guy.

We are not taking sullinger, doesn't matter if hes the BPA we aren't taking some1 we have no use for just because he's the BPA. We'll take some1 with more upside & potential over Sullinger.

I like Sully but if we Draft him then I hope BC has a plan to ship out Andrea soon before he his value is depleted. I usually support the BPA and now that we're one of the worst teams in the league it couldn't be more important to acquire talent.

A couple years ago the Thunder picked James Harden over Tyreke Evans and Steph Curry because he was a for sure 2 guard who could complement KD. Let us never forget about the Araujo draft.

I'm not one for revisionist history but with our current play it's hard not to look back at how we got to the position we're currently in. I know it's easy to say now but it's pretty sad that I (myself) would have drafted better than our GM's have in recent key drafts.

'04 I was a big supporter of Igoudala and we drafted Hoffa. In '05 I (and a lot of others) wanted Danny Granger and we picked Joey Graham and Charlie V. Charlie V was traded for TJ Ford. TJ Ford AND Roy Hibbert were traded for Jermaine O'Neal. Jermaine O'Neal was traded for Shawn Marion which opened up space for us to sign Turk and for the Heat to sign LeBron and Bosh from us.

Throw in the '06 draft when most GM's would have listened to Bosh and taken Aldridge with the top pick. I know we could go all day with "what ifs" but most of these picks were pretty simple and personally (along with many others on this board) would have made. I hate doing this and I know it's been beaten to death but it hurts knowing this should be our guard/forward combo.

SG: Andre Igoudala ('04 easy choice)
SF: Danny Granger (my '05 fav)
PF: Chris Bosh/LaMarcus Aldridge (nice Texas tandem)

We need to start drafting smart if we ever want to turn this around because I'm not sure if Toronto has ever looked less appealing to FA's. The 04-05 drafts set us back but we need a stud this year for sure.

there is a huge difference between drafting to fill a need and not drafting a certain position.

Wanna know why a pf wouldnt be a smart choice? Shy of a Blake Griffen, they would not be able to develop (or get pt) behind so many other players. Further, it would take away our opportunity to improve at other positions.

There is a zero percent we even think about drafting a pf with our top pick.

I hope so too, but I fear those scenarios where Irving is gone and Perry Jones looks like the obvious next choice. From what I've seen, hes going to be an NBA 4.

In those scenarios I disagreed with what we were doing before, during and long after the moves were made. Now that more time has passed and Granger, Aldridge and Iggy are have developed into All-Stars I can't help but look back and put all of the pieces together.

Most of those poor decisions spiraled into other worse moves that dug us deeper and deeper into a hole. I understand that at the end of the day we can't change anything but it's important that we don't make the same mistakes. Now that our roster looks hopeless we need a star and that means we need the BPA regardless of position.

The problem with BPA draft theory is that it requires consensus to be valid so it becomes useful for only a very small percentage of potential draftees e.g. Blake Griffin or John Wall.

Its so overused that it now translates to, 'draft who I like best.'
