I don't think I've ever visited the Mavs board. Anyways nice game thread and good luck(after this game).

According to Elias Sports Bureau, Nowitzki's career scoring average in Boston (27.7 points in 11 career games) is the fourth-highest all-time (minimum 10 games). The three names ahead of him don't even need first names: Jordan (32 points per game), Abdul-Jabbar (30.7) and Chamberlain (29.7). Needless to say, some lofty company.

I just read this from another board it's pretty crazy to say the least.

Am I the only one who really wants this? Last time we played Boston, we started Stevenson to put a better defender on Ray Allen, now I feel like Carlisle is starting Cardinal just to keep the rotation in tact. We should start Marion for the same reason, so Pierce doesn't kill Cardinal.

It's a good thing Barea's jumper is falling or else he would be completely useless since he has no D.

I like the refs this game because they are letting them play down low and only calling actual fouls. This is how officiating should be like.

Barea really needs to learn how to pass instead of always penetrating and looking to score. He's a PG not a SG.

He has 2 fouls and can't get a third so he can't afford to hack and swipe. Mavs would benefit defensively if DIRK were out of the game.

Mavs should try and exploit DIRK on the offensive end though. DIRK usually does well against KG.
