don't be a dumba** just for arguments sake how many charges a person has taken is factual how good a player is is subject to opinion it's like watching a race and knowing for a fact that the man who came first came first but still thinking that the man who came second is faster now do you understand the difference between fact and opinion
Now do you understand the difference between being able to post and being banned - because now you are banned.
For the lulz I guess from Heaters board. That guy eve has had a nerve to go to GB with this type of bull during the game . Assumingly we whine everyytime we play them even when we get much more free throws (he meant that games when Larry prohibited 3pt shooting). Oh and our players are fake tough guys and floppers.

Those kids today

You're a bandwagon Heat fan who is on here telling an opposing set of fans how to feel after a loss. Yeah, you're here to just have a "conversation". The only thing more annoying than seeing your loudmouth next door neighbor win the lottery is when he thinks that qualifies him to start telling you what to do with your money.

James and wade hear whistles when an opponent dares to even sneeze in their general vicinity. It maddens me as much as the next objective fan. There was some of that tonight along with some other questionable calls, just like alot of nights.

But to portray this as a close loss that could have gone either way if not for the officiating is lunacy. Miami flipped the switch towards the end of the game and utterly dominated us. This can be expected to happen 90% of the time when playing a vastly superior opponents like Miami, San Antonio or Boston.

We probably would have had a 6 point lead starting the 4th if the officiating was even decent.

im late to the party... had to watch on dvr... will throw my 2 cents in.

i started counting blatant fouls on the heat that werent called in the 1st quarter. i'm not talking about 50/50 calls like a little bit of contact on layups or handchecking. i'm talking about blatant fouls, no question it was a foul type fouls. there were 4 missed fouls in the 1st, 2 in the 2nd, 2 in the 3rd and 2 in the 4th. thats 10 blatant missed fouls by the refs against heat players. most of these missed fouls i made sure to hit rewind and watch in slow motion before counting them.

i am not one to complain about officiating very often, especially in regular season games. i have been watching the nba long enough to know that bad calls are part of the game. however, the officiating tonight was bad. very bad, mostly bad towards the bobcats... shocking i know. the heat are playing like a typical post LA riley team, which is to foul so much and so often on defense the officials cant possibly call all of the fouls. its how he coached in new york and its how he coached in his first stint with miami. now his protegee spolestra appears to be following the same gameplan.

that being said, we didnt really lose as a result of officiating.

we played pretty damn good tonight on both ends of the court, minus a few bad turnovers and a few rushed jumpers. other than dj all our core players had good games. defensively we did a pretty decent job defending the big 3. what killed us was the miami scrubs. they scrubs went 8-for-11 from downtown and big z had 10pts in the first quarter alone. we forced their scrubs to take shots and they made them. i can live with that defensively. if the scrubs arent on fire, this is a very close game or even a game with bobcats leading in the last few minutes.

i am happy with our performance. i am disgusted by the officiating, but certainly not blaming it for the loss.

It sets the tone though, which cannot be understated.

the officiating was really awful. I thought it was pretty consistent in the first half, but then it really got bad. The Wade missed dunk, charge on Henderson and two non-charges on LeBron for the exact same thing, and worst of all the flagrant foul on Jax (How the hell was that a flagrant foul ??? That one really pissed me off).

Really really bad if you ask me. But we collapsed in the 4th anyway and did not deserve the victory, they were better than us.

I'm still pretty optimistic, the team showed its worth when Wallace is playing aggressive, and with Tyrus in and DJ not having an unusual **** shooting night, I really like the pieces we have.

Now let's beat the Mavs for History's sake !

regarding the foul on hendo guarding wade vs the non-foul on jax guarding lebron. that was one of the most atrocious displays of officiating i have ever seen watching basketball. thats the kind of crap that makes you go nuts as a fan. someone should make a video of the 3 plays and post it on youtube and the general board. in my opinion all 3 plays should have been no-calls. wade obviously flopped at the contact and the ref bought it. lebron initiated the exact same contact and of course jax also flopped and the ref didnt buy it. all three should have been no calls. sadly, one was called a foul and two were not. for the most part, fans dont care either way, foul or no foul as long as it is consistent both ways. where is ronnie nun when you need him?

this is where i wish the nba would copy soccer a tad. i would love to see players get technicals for flopping. give wade a technical when he flopped to get that call and give jax a tech when he flopped. that would end all this nonsense flopping. put that in the "respect for the game" bull guidelines.

I've been talking about that on other forums. A non-shooting technical foul would be appropriate.

Late to weigh in also. It's BS how the officials "kiss the ring" of the Heat all the time. Wade cries and gets more flagrant fouls than anyone in the league. Since when is wrapping a guy up flagrant? Did you see Spoelstra when James got his 3rd foul? He yelled at the ref " that's 3 fouls!". Like Lebron can't get 3 or something. Is that a hidden rule?

I thought what really did us in though was all the open shots by House, Big Z, and the other Lebronettes. We were so concerned with helping on LBJ and Wade that these guys got wide open looks. I think Crash and Jax along with Hendo can man up on those guys with little to no help.

I was very happy though with our overall effort. DJ was MIA though. Crash finally! Back to the future for him.

wade is a classless punk, but that is nothing new. after hendo drew that foul against in down in the corner wade came back down the floor and threw a forearm at hendo as he was walking by. of course the refs missed it.

there was another play that got me fired up... dj drove into the paint for a layup and wade fouled the bananas out of dj knocking him to the floor, but no call. derrick brown followed up the miss and scored on a putback. the whole think kinda get swept under the rug since we still scored.

Yup if Wade or LeBron fouls and someone is tipping like in that play you mentioned refs are mnorl ikely to call a foul if one occurs as lon as it is not James or Wade. Look like their teammates collecting fouls instead of them.
