It was just announced that Kyrie Irving has had his cast removed and should be able to start his rehab soon. The Blue Devils are hopeful that Irving will be able to return sometime this year. I really want to be able to watch him play in hopes of the Raptors getting him in the draft.

I was watching the Duke game the other night and the announcers were saying that he has no chance of playing this year. According to their talks with Coach K, the emphasis with Kyrie is to get him 100% healthy. IMO this is a smart move by Duke because you don't want to be known as a program that will rush your star player back onto the court.

He could also re-aggravate the injury or not look like the same player after the time off once he's back. I think he rides his high stock into the draft and gets in the best shape he possibly can before workouts where he is sure to impress.

lol. its DeRozan's old nbadraft.net pic when he was supposed to be a top-3 pick and I wanted him on the Raptors but didn't think we'd have a chance at him. That was before his Frosh season at USC.

Harrison Barnes had poor guard play with Larry Drew, but he might now see more time on the court with kendall Marshall because as per the WT Larry Drew is going to transfers according to sources. Barnes could see his stock sky rocket with better play to support him

Saw the source too, couldn't been happier to see that scrub leaves. He's a blackhole on the team, dude can't pass can't dribble can't score can't do anything right. Let's go HB. Declare your freakin' a$$ in the draft this year damn it.

Found this quote from SI interesting:

One executive believes the 18-year-old Valanciunas, a 6-11, 240-pound center with the Lithuanian club Lietuvos Rytas, will emerge as the top pick.

"He's the best thing I've seen out of that country since [Zydrunas] Ilgauskas," the executive said. "He has a very good basketball IQ, he's tough, he can score, and over the last two years he has made the kind of jump you're looking for. He can shoot, but he can also be a traditional back-to-the-basket center, the way you like centers to be. He's different from [the Raptors' Andrea] Bargnani in that he's a legitimate post player.''

Unless we get the #1 overall pick, I want us to draft Barnes.

From what I've seen from him the last few weeks, he's becoming exactly the player that I want on this team.

With Drew leaving the team, they're going to continue running more and more of their offence through him to get into March Madness. I think he's going to be a top 4 pick when it's all said and done.

unc can easily not make march madness again. We''ll see what happens to them because its an interesting situation considering how much talent they have.

Barnes needs to play well until the end of the year before I would feel comfortable spending a high pick on him. He just sucked for way too long and didn't have any answers. Blaming it on Drew seems a little much, Barnes took a lot of jumpers and he was ice cold for months.

I'm interested in the Texas game, Kentucky game, and even the Kansas game. I have yet to see Shelby play.

Marshon Brooks of Providence with 41 points against Georgetown, singlehandedly keeping them in the game.

This guy might keep working himself into a late first round pick.

Funny, a couple of media with messages on Twitter calling his hesitation to shoot something to worry about for such a high pick.

Ya, he's too damn passive. I worry about Raptors getting him lol. He doesn't look like he can take over a game.
