Do I think Overeem juices? Yes
Do I think it's fair to call him out on it even though he hasn't test positive? No. There are probably a lot of superstars that have used roids, I would say most of them.

I'm fine with people speculating, what I took issue with is multiple posts lumping Overeem in with Barnett.
Barnett is the poster boy for roids in this sport, just doesn't seem right to classify him with a guy who has never even tested positive IMO.

You're deliberately ignoring the fact that Overeem has conspicuously only fought in events that demand testing once or twice over the past five years. He's passed one test, off the top of my head, against a complete nobody. Depending on the half life of your steroid, you can cut the cycle 2-3 weeks out and piss clean no problem. If you even bother to juice for what's his face.
It's not just sheer weight.
There's a difference in the physiques they got. Mir has an endomorph's body. He puts on body fat easily, you can tell; he's never been ripped. Those guys also put on general muscle bulk very easily. Mir did huge amounts of lower body exercises and got a general girth. That's what happens to endomorphs, who can convert body fat to muscle very easily when they put their bodies through heavy lifting. Power lifters out of season deliberately fatten themselves up like crazy because they are the types who can turn that into muscle in only a few months before the actual season starts.
But Overeem has a body builder's physique. Look at his traps and upper back. It's insanity. He's spending hours and hours in the gym every week, year long. That's way harder to achieve than just a general bulking. In fact, overdeveloped traps like Alistair's are a huge sign of steroid use. As is the fattened face a sign of steroids and HGH.
They may have each put on 30 pounds, but nowhere near the same 30 pounds.

How much did Overeem even put on? He weight what right now? 250 ish pounds (which is crazy considering he looks like a freakin' statue)? He was always a GIGANTIC LHW. I wonder what he used to cut from? 220 at least, probably more. And how many years did it take him to put on those 30-35 pounds?
I'm not even an Overeem fan. The only guys who I wouldn't root for to beat him in the SF tourney are Barnett and Rogers.
I still don't think he should be called a roider though if we don't know for sure.

Just do Google image searches for Overeem + face. His face has grown...from water retention and skeletal growth, steroids and HGH.

I still don't like the logic. Using this, I can assert that every MMA fighter (yes, including your favorite, whoever he/she may be) roids before every fight. No more proof of Overeem using roids than it is of Rich Franklin using roids.
BTW, thanks for the info. Its interesting, admittedly I don't know a lot about this topic.

Anyone who doesn't think Overeem is juiced is burying their heads in the sand. He is so much bigger now it is crazy and his head has doubled in size. I like Overeem, but he is a more obvious juicer than Barry Bonds or Sammy Sosa ever were.

I'm not even saying he hasn't/doesn't juice.
Again, I just don't think people should think others are crazy for not automatically lumping the guy in with ultra juicers like Barnett.

In theory I agree, but there is more than enough circumstancial evidence here to get a conviction.

It is impossible to convict anyone of anything with only circumstancial evidence no matter how much circumstancial evidence there is.

Wrong. People are convicted on only circumstancial evidence all the time.
