I don't know, I watched every game he played with the Habs and I never saw him as dirty. He's a grinder; he's paid to hit and to chip it in and score dirty goals. Reminds me a lot of Travis Moen, except he fights more.

Great too see The Wings pull one out shorthanded. What a great game by Hudler the guy is making me respect him more and more each time I see him. Can't wait till were 100% with Nabakov in the fold. Were going to be scary good.

So, we rarely get games of Canadian teams here in America. I was watching SportsCenter and they had highlights of the Habs/Sens game in Ottawa and noticed that there were a ton of Habs fans there. Then I watched the highlights because I was curious how loud the Habs fans would be against the Sens fans and it sounded like 60% of the fans there were Habs fans, minimum.

So my question is is it always like that between those two teams or is it just a case of the Habs being good and the Sens sucking this year?

Its always been like that. Ottawa only got a team in 1992 so their fanbase is still new.

Hey Ottawa Senators fans — you’re a joke.

Literally.

The way you let Toronto Maple Leafs take over Scotiabank Place when their team visits is embarrassing to witness.

The way they elbow you aside and dominate the atmosphere with their loud cheering surely makes the Buds feel like they play at least 44 home games a season — 41 at Air Canada Centre and three in Ottawa.

Folks watching this Saturday’s Hockey Night in Canada production from living rooms across the country will no doubt shake their heads and chuckle at your hospitality, as they always do.

It’s too much.

There’s being a good host, and then there’s letting your guests wipe their feet on you.

The jerseys on Senators fans are muddied with boot prints when the Leafs are in town.

Even the Senators laugh about it.

“We know the situation,” captain Daniel Alfredsson said earlier this week.

“We joke in the locker room before the game, if we play Toronto or Montreal at home, let’s take the crowd out of the game early tonight. It’s not a big deal to us. We know how to handle it. “If we play well, we win and they’re quiet.” How backwards is that?

Franzen netted 5 goals tonight, which is pretty darn impressive

LOL. Anyone see the last 20 seconds of the Penguins/Islanders game last night? Fight breaks out with like 16 seconds left then Johnson and DiPietro were going to start a fight, Johnson was serious, DiPietro thought he was joking as he was smiling. Johnson comes up and gives him a left to the cheek and knocks him to the ice.

Yeah he's surprised me a lot I though he was a better shooting Tomas Holmstrom. Just a "garbage" goal scorer i.e. just puts in rebounds down low. Seriously one of my fave Wings now great to see us still win games when missing key players and to see Team Lidstrom win the All-Star Game.

Just curious who you guys think the first big name is that will be traded? I would love it to be Spezza to Detroit 8-)

It was funny to listen to a radio show and to hear a panel of people say Toronto Maple Leafs have great trade pieces  One of them said don't be surprised to see a top 5 forward to go to Toronto for Francios Boucheman and JS Giggure

I would honestly be shocked if Detroit made a move for Spezza. The dude is a bum when you look at how much money he makes and his production. Ottawa desperately needs to get him out of there for some prospects before they can properly re-build. Send him to LA for a Simmonds/Schenn package.

That was amazing and now DiPetro going to miss 4-6 weeks with a broken face. That might of been the best one punch hockey fight i've ever seen.

And with Crosby making absolutely no progress whatsoever on his concussion, the Pens are potentially ****ed. Wouldn't be surprised to see them make a ton of rental trades before the deadline now. That's a ton of cap space opening up from the IR.

No doubt, they're going to have too make a ton of deals if they still want a shot in the playoffs.

Simple question after seeing his hit last night: is Matt Cooke the dirtiest player in the NHL? Top-3?

Top 3 for sure. Didn't have to lay that hit but did it anyways.

Also Leafs get Lupul for Beach. Not a huge fan of Lupul, but hopefully he can stay healthy and score some goals here.

Absolutely ridiculous game between the Habs/Bruins tonight.

Even with the Habs losing, I have to say this: When our guys won fights, they didn't do **** after the fight was stopped. Whenever a Bruins player got a Habs player down, they still had fists flying. Not to mention that douchebag Campbell held his elbow pad in his hand while he was wailing on Pyatt.

Hopefully Gauthier makes some trades for some enforcers and the note is taken for next game.

That Habs-Bruins game was one of the most bats*** crazy games I've ever seen.

I don't know what the goody-two-shoes say about that Habs/Bruins game, but I loved it. Good ol' fashion hockey with them just beating each other. Don't tell me that those fans in the building didn't enjoy it either
