Anyone watch the game tonight?

I didn't think this team had it in them to come back from 3 down but they did. That third period had to probably be their best period all season. Shame they didn't show that effort the rest of the season.

Best game of the season, but I keep trying to pinch myself to make sure I remember it meant nothing. Very true, if the Leafs could've put in that much effort at least most nights, they'd be riding high on the way to the playoffs right now.

And slowly the rebuilding process gets further and further away. Guaranteed they are going to turn around and sell us on this team at the end of the season and try a quick fix, sign some FA's and see if they can squeeze in next year.

^^Fletcher already said this team will look very different next year. I dont think hes gonna be like the other GMs.

I'll believe it when I see it. I still don't belive MLSE will just fork over money to get rid of guys....although I still hope it happens.

Second, after buying out some guys, they may still go for the quick fix and get some middle or older FA's to come in and quickly get them to the playoffs. While that may work for some short success, they would still not be on the right path to building a true contender.
