3. Put Amar'e and Melo on opposite sides at all times
4. Make sure one of Melo OR Amar'e is in the game for at least 42-45 minutes a night

That'll be good for 50 wins easy. And then if it clicks, you should be able to compete with the cHeat to some degree. Probably better than the Bulls IF you play defense and get some decent play from Felton.

I think that is exactly why denver is starting to like chandler. Chandler is the best option denver can get in replacing Carmelo's production. They have somewhat similar styles.

I think this is going to the trade deadline. So I would personally say less than 20% chance this is done in a week. Only thing that could push Denver is if Minnesota (or the Knicks) really puts a hard deadline on them of "Do this deal next week or never" and they do feel the urgency to get something for Melo. We don't know when the Nuggets will start to panic and say 'We better pull the trigger.'

The Nets thing *may* have been a complete fake deal. So it may not be fair to judge that deal as a barometer of what will happen with the Knicks.

Still, I do not think it is at all likely that a deal gets done next week. But Broussard is not saying that either. He's saying 'the earliest it could get done is middle of next week.' Different things.

Broussard has poor knowledge of the game and he seemed to be very anti-Knicks getting lebron last summer. But I don't think his sources are non-existent or that he's making stuff up completely. There is I'm sure some credibility to this story. How much, who knows.

One of my friends saw him at the Garden and confronted him on his anti-Knicks bias and the bs he was spewing over the summer. He said he promised he was NOT anti-knicks, and everything he reported was because his "bosses" told him to (aka executives who wanted ratings for LBJ decision). Take it for what it's worth.

Curry/Chandler/AR=Melo money then possible drop in attendance and who knows where they'd stand by season's end for playoffs. They could get knocked out. Now if they start free falling the next 2 weeks I could possibly see things changing. They can make a similar trade in the summer by flipping Chandler if he's in this trade a team of his choice and getting assets. You could say Chandler could raise his value(S&T suitors, not so much money) post deadline assuming solid playoff run
