a SF shooter
Any ideas on a SF shooter the team can afford? Not that any of us are in the lakers inner circle who can give them ideas, but just for general info....
I've been watching the triangle O since the 97-98 season, and every time, whether it be s, toni kukoc, glen rice, devean george, luke walton, or ron artest...it always seems like the tri-O is perfect for a shooting small forward...they always tend to get WIDE OPEN shots at the baseline or freethrow-extended(wing)...
I wouldnt mind having a SF 3 point specialist in our arsenal...not that I'm panicking, just saying, move matt barnes or even artest for someone who can shoot better than 40% at the arc wouldnt be a bad idea, depending on how many more years we run the tri-O ofcourse.

he was the first one that crossed my mind, but I'm incline to agree he will not be leaving Golden State, there is always Radmanovic. I wish we had Jared Dudley too

I saw we bring back Rick Fox, assuming Glenn Rice is unavailable.

Re: a SF shooter
How is Jared Dudley realistic? He's young, on a very reasonable contract on a team trying to make the playoffs.

Luke/future 1st/Cash for Rad?
.....if nothing else at least we'll never have to see Walton again in a Laker uni.

Yeah, but you replace him with Radman... Who was Luke before Luke was Luke...
Radman was the poster-child for addition by subtraction.
Never have rice at Hanzo's house...

Re: a SF shooter
Iggy? His nba future is done in philly and he can score when hes intrested in the game and i dont think we would have to trade a leg and arm for him either. Afflalo isnt coming to la. i wish. Hes going be the franchise player after melo leaves.

Re: a SF shooter
we dont need the 'space cadet' in LA...i'd like to see JR smith play the 3 for us, only if he had his head on straight and got rid of that idiotic thug mentality

Re: a SF shooter
dare I say this:
LARRY HUGHES. Look at this sight:

Defense:
Artest>Hughes>Barnes
Shooting:
Barnes>/= Hughes>Artest
Passing:
Hughes>Barnes>Artest
Will be back with the numbers.

Re: a SF shooter
I understand. His stints in Cleveland, Chicago and New York, aren't that admirabe. He performed solid with the Bobcats, unfortunately the team chose to go young.
