The main reason why I did that deal was to get Greg Oden. I really thought he would be able to come back healthy. I also gave up Morrow. Had Oden been healthy, then I think the deal would have worked out ok as Kobe is on the down side though still very good. But his 1st round days may be over. If Oden can come back (which I have to say is looking unlikely), then I have a real solid core of bigs - Love, Blatche, Ibaka, Varejao, Gortat, and Oden.

I do think Thornton and Law will have nice careers and settle into solid mid-round fantasy players.

Thornton and Lawson will be ok, but not great. That's why I unloaded Lawson while I could. In today's NBA, short PGs usually don't get starting jobs.

I'm thinking you gave up on SJax a bit too early.

He just did that to taunt me. I was about 30 feet away from him yelling for him to shoot it whenever he touched the ball. Which he pretty much did.

Cousins can be so maddeningly inconsistent. 20 and 9 one night, 8 and 3 the next.

Four consecutive winning weeks to start 2011...if only my team didn't start so sluggishly.

Top work Blake. Been a tough draw for me, but I've been competitive. Just very lousy in some categories...

Wow. a 4-5 lose knocks us out of the playoff standings.

3 teams (mine, yours, and AlciG's) vying for the 5th and 6th seed. The Team has the best schedule remaining, not facing any of the current top 7 teams. AlciG and I face off next week, and we both have two weeks against top 4 teams. I've got east and moose, while AlciG has bww and carl.

Looks like we will remain a half game behind you but leapfrog over AlciG.

Also, I am looking to do a two for one deal and can include a 2011 first to anyone that is interested.

My team had a nice win over AlciG last week so I have a decent shot at 5th or 6th seed, but those top 4 teams are really good. Nice battle among them. Drawing any one of them is a likely defeat for my team. At least I "warm up" by facing moose and east the next two weeks. :(

WHAT THE BLEEP IS GOING ON!!!

I am trying to IL Perkins and activate Hamilton for Yahoo won't let me. It says he is in a pending transaction but all my trade offers disappeared when the trade deadline expired.

Lawson has been good as a starter stat-wise. Another nice performance tonight with 15 pts, 3 threes, 11 assists, and 4 steals. Plus, Denver has been winning. Hopefully he'll remain the long term PG in Denver.

My team definitely benefited at the trade deadline: Lawson getting a chance to start with Billups traded, Thornton getting minutes by going to Sacramento, and Ibaka becoming a starter with Green traded to Boston.
