Can I kill myself or should I wait until the Bulls lose?
Seriously, Packers show how an organization is supposed to be run. Instead with Angelo and the goons.

Whipping the "Champs" butt next year will be more fun.
Maybe just maybe Lovie Smith will learn if you have a chance to eliminate a threat from the postseason, you eliminate the threat.

Re: So...
The Packers are going to be dominant for awhile. They have the talent to do so. We're basically stuck in a **** situation. Just sucks an organization from Green Bay can have more brains than an organization from Chicago. Sad.

How are the Bears stuck in a **** situation exactly?

The Packers aren't going away anytime soon. They might have this division locked up for the next few years.

We're not stuck. We are the only team that "somewhat" shut Rodgers down & we damn near beat them with our starting QB on the sideline for basically the entire 2nd half. I give the Packers credit, but they are not that far ahead of us. We just need to solidify our O-Line, add a "real" big receiver, & an upgrade at CB. Most importantly, we will have a year's worth of experience under our belt of Martz's offense. I think that we forget that this was our first year running his complicated system.

Re: So...
I can't help but be really pissed about this. The Packers organization continually has excellent QBs, fields winning teams, has won twice as many Super Bowls as the Bears in my lifetime (the modern era). Great drafts, it goes on and on. Meanwhile, the Bears continue to stumble and bumble - flashes of brilliance seasons sandwiched in between 3 or 4 seasons of mediocrity. I'm sorry if I expect more from the 2nd largest football market and a team that has been around since the beginning.
Personally, I can't wait until the McCaskey family sells the damn team and they have an owner that doesn't depend on the team for income, will actually hold management accountable, and will bring in legitimate football minds to run things - not just hire a headhunter.

Seriously?

How can you argue that we aren't in a **** situation? To top it all off, the organization will probably reward Jerry, Lovie, and Ted a contract extension for having one decent season after 3 miserable ones. Totally ignoring the fact that we had two opportunities to eliminate the Packers(Lovie's main goal, mind you) and an opportunity to go to the Super Bowl and we blew both of those.
There's absolutely nothing that points to the Bears having a Super Bowl season next year. They are excellent at nothing and only do a few things well. At least the Packers had a deadly passing game to lean on, and a pretty good defense.
Ah well, /rant.

Re: So...
Well, I know that we are all a lil frustrated with not only our loss, but the fact that the Packers are SB champs. That being said, we made it to the NFC championship game & lost by 7 points to the hottest team in NFL history. Not that bad of a run for my Bears, IMHO.

Should have eliminated their ass when given the chance. Now we have to see Packers Superbowl champs on ESPN, S.I. and on T-shirts and hats all off season.

Bosh has trademarked the name Homo Ostrich in order to prevent announcers and fans from using it to describe his game.

Re: So...
Jermichael Finley, Ryan Grant, Morgan Burnett and Nick Barnett all were out for most of this season. How is this team going to be stopped?

Desmond Bishop is better than Nick Barnett.

I don't know, how about they play the games first? Stop mailing in the future already.
SportsWorld's overreaction returns in swooping fashion.
