Notice how he put quotations around The Dayton Family instead of italicizing it. For Kroenke it's about the sales quota. Interesting choice.

OK... I've got to leave the high level psychology of interpreting tweets to you experts...

I am seriously out of my element there..... so at the risk of hijacking the thread back to something that might be relevent...

How much leverage do you guys thing that Kahn actually has?

I mean let's say that DW and Ujiri actully come to an agreement and it involves Curry and AR going to Minn and Brewer and Minny's own pick (you know that Denve is going to ask for it) back....

Now, DW comes back to Kahn and says, here's what I need from you to make this happen...

Can/will Kahn try to extort us at that point?

Well if they did my question still is.... IF WE FINALLY GET Denver to say yes to something... whatever it is.... and it involves a pick from Minny and Brewer and the contract of Curry.... does he extort us at that point... no doubt we offer the 3 mil in cash... but the pick and Brewer for AR?

Can Kahn hold up the deal with something unreasonable or do they shake hands and wink and on draft night... right after Minny makes their 2nd round pick it is announced that we have traded the guy we picked at 17th ( or whatever pick we get based on where we finish) for the guy they took in the 2nd round....????

Lucky for us they(worked together) know each other...That removes all the posturing and BS. Therefore, I believe if Khan has better use for the "17 day cap space" he will present it to DW and we may have to include a future pick. If Khan has nothing lined up, maybe we take back 1 or couple of those small contract in exchange for Azub's contract. I just don't think it will be "give me Fields" or something alone those lines... A Minny poster suggested to me if we throw in either Rautins or Mason that would be enough...

This Melo-Knicks thing likely will continue right up until trade deadline, and look for the Wolves to be there interesting in Randolph and more if they're going to be the third team that makes such a deal work.

If they are playing king maker it's not to do us a favor. They'll be looking to get as much as possible. And don't give me this BS about a friendly relationship. We wanted Rubio and stole that from us even though Rubio said he won't play in Minny.

Everyone is forgetting one thing regarding Mini. We gift wrapped Darko to them last year for nothing in what appeared to more of a favor to Kahn. Kahn and Walsh are friends. Darko wasn't working out for us, but we knew he needed a fresh start in a smaller market and it has worked out for them. Originally most likely it was meant to be a bridge toward getting rubio but maybe this is how they will help us out?

I've been thinking about this quote from Walsh all day----

The tweet analysis made me think of this... The Melo deal will see a lot more Knicks going out than players coming in so when DW talks about fill in the blanks, he must be looking at what roster moves to make to plug the holes from the Melo trade.

Indicates to me that DW definitely believes a deal is going to get done.... or else why would he even mention fill in the blanks within our own team... when we don't have any blanks. Except for the bad shots that Felton takes..LOL :roll:
