Nah you're wrong. As President of the Gallo Needs More Touches Brigade if Melo can up his percentages then nobody will complain. We rave about Gallo's touches when he scores 14 pts on like 6 shots while Felton, Dougie, and Chandler go buck wild. Its really not a hard concept Shammy. Our most efficient players should shoot the most, which is why nobody says Amare should not shoot because he shoots 50%+. Passing is a different story. So yea if Melo comes here shooting 42% Im going to be mouthing off, but if he raises his game you wont hear a peep. Smell me??????

He shoots 46% for his career. Are you really stupid enough to think hes gonna come to the knicks, playing with the best player he has ever played with and the best offensive coach he has ever played for and shoot 42%. He had 3 straight years over 47% with the nuggets. Your either not that smart or just very negative.

Despite our sloppy ball of late: Amare is playing well, Gallo is playing well, and Felton appears to be getting his shooting stroke back... you add Melo to that we are in a good place..

As for Gallo, he'll get the amount of touches any third guy to two superstars would get... I don't think he'll have any problem getting his points... having Melo will only make things easier for him as well as others in terms of doubles teams, pressure etc... perhaps he'll have to take it upon himself a little more often to score the ball, but having superstars on a team tends to make those around them play a bit better...this will be no different.
