Return To Titletown @ Lambeau

Post#1 » by LarryHarris » Mon Feb 7, 2011 6:29 pm

Who is planning on going to the event tomorrow. My dad and I are going to be there. Was 15 for the XXXI win and just watched on TV. Can't wait to be there in person!

This is planned much better than last time. In 1997 they had the event the same day the players returned from New Orleans. The problem was the plane was late getting in and the parade route was jammed. It took MUCH longer than they thought to get from the airport to Lambeau. The people inside Lambeau were there for hours. This year the Lambeau event is the day after so everything should start on time. Gates open at 2:00, event is from 4-5. $5 tix available now online. Event will be on statewide TV on various channels, in Milwaukee it's Channel 4, and they will rerun it in primetime for those who can't watch at 4 and/or have no DVR.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

As soon as I know the newest trophy is in the Packers Hall of Fame I'm heading there. Can't wait to see it up close. I know it's just like the other 3 but I still want to see it up close.

I was in the crowd, I was just a little up the hill and out of view from the picture Barnett tweeted, took some pictures of that will post them later depending if any are even good. Were a ton of people there, the entire Lambeau Field parking lot was full in addition to many people parking on streets and walking.

Watched wrestling religiously for years. Stopped about 2 years ago. Watched tonight because it was in Milwaukee... From my POV, I haven't been missing much, though I still love Orton.

Goin'. Last minute candy bar at the check out type move...tried ticketmaster, they couldn't find any results for my ticket searches. Sold out? I figured at $5 a crack with a 20 ticket cap they were scooped up by brokers and investment seekers. Mad scramble as my brother needed to furnish evidence of tickets in order to get his last minute request off granted. Found 'em on StubHub, so much for $5. Dropped $130 on the pair, Sect 119 Row 18 though. Don't know if TM still has 'em available and just no longer online, but I'm sure the $5 singles are long gone. Don't really care though. In weeks I'll forget about the cabbage, but the memory will be with me forever and still a bargain at a bill and a half. Well, until at least I forget everything. (biggest fear in the world ALZ or something of that ilk). But I digress. In the words of Mr. Trump, "It's gonna be huge".
