While Curry/Randolph absence from practice raises antennae, should be noted Wilson Chandler was present and went thru entire workout.

Probably because Eddy and AR are going to be traded either way. If not for Melo, then in a smaller deal with Minny.

re: Wilson Chandler and Ankle Gate

I noticed during Sunday's Sixers game that on a Philly fast break Wil chased down Iggy from behind from practically full court at a full sprint.

hmmmm.......
Play time is over.

lol ... this new writer for the WSJ who covers the Knicks is awesome:

KevinClarkWSJ

Asked S.Williams about Amares half-day. 1 min later, AS emerges with weight lifting gloves "Did you think I was on vacation?" he asks.Whoops

I don't usually promote things but I recommend you guys all follow Kevin Clark (KevinClarkWSJ) and read his stuff -- very good and seems to actually, get this, *like* the Knicks a little ... what a sin!

Nothing to do with Melo but just a mention.

I don't think it's important that Curry/Randolph missed practice. The important question is: Did Herb Williams attend?

he was just on wfan and legitimately sounded like he knew nothing. he just kept speculating throwing out chicago, dallas, and houston as possible spots and saying melo would love to live in la cause of the weather.

he didnt sound like his info came from anywhere reliable, nor did he elaborate on anything he tweeted. after listening to him talk, i find it hard to believe he has anything clue.

Wow i always come on realgm every day to see if theirs any new news on wiretap and im never dissapointed? The Lakers? Bynum
??

So they would rather have Bynum.. a overpaid injured center who only plays well when hes healthy 10% of the time..

Then Chandler who is a good SF who will make most likely 4-6 million less on his next contract per year then bynum.. is healthy also we would be giving denver a bit more then chandler.

Give me a break..

eh, I think one major aspect favorable to Denver in this trade is the fact that they can sell their fans on it. They take back Bynum, their fans can feel like they got a name brand player in return and still maintain somewhat of a buzz for the rest of the year. Then they can either decide to pick up Bynum's options, or flip him for assets in a deal.

Is Bynum at 15 mill/per really worth it? Even with Melo they lose money. Who is paying to see Andrew Bynum occasionally play?

Broussard Live on Sportscenter right now

- Says talks between Denver and LA are in "infant" stages
- No interest in Lamar Odom or Ron Artest
- No real offer yet
- Talks about other outlets reporting Buss' lack of interests in trading Bynum (basically Isola's report) says he understands where that source is coming from. Knows of Buss' love for Bynum, but according to his source talks wouldnt have advanced this fair and still be alive if that was an obstacle.
- Says Denver like this offer, Feels Bynum has superstar potential and they dont feel his contract is deadly because after next season its only a team option, so if he breaks down they can let him go.
- Goes on to Knicks, says 3 way trade with Minny still alive. However, Denver wants more
- Doesn't think this is a smokescreen by Denver to get Knicks to ante up but feels it will force the Knicks to ante up.
- Denver wants 2/3 of Chandler, Gallo, Fields.
- According to his source, Knicks ultimately will give in to that request if they need to
- Says Lakers face problem for Knicks, because indications from people close to Melo, but not confirmed that he would definitely sign with Lakers, has a home there.

WOW. Seems like Kroeke slipped Broussard a few dollars to go on a limb like this

Why would Denver want to trade him to someone in the Western Conference? Let alone a LA Lakers team that if you combined with Kobe and Gasol would be a pretty formidable trio... aka Denver wouldn't have any chance to do anything anytime soon...
