Well...this has been a helluva ride, but too little, too late for the Baby Hawks. I think we can all say this with a huge amount of optimism and pride, but I can't wait until next season.

Congratulations, Blackhawks, on a great turnaround. You got a new fan out of it all.

On a positive note, now Byfuglien, Bolland, and Hendry all get to come back to Rockford for their playoff push. Huzzah!

Next year is going to be awesome. We are going to have a good team on the ice and anything less than a playoff birth would be a disappointment. And best of all, all games are going to be on TV. No more going to 670thescore.com and listening to it here. And I think all games (home and away) are going to be in HD. Hopefully the Hawks and NHL work out something so the games will be shown on WGN throughout the United States. Why would the NHL want to restrict games and not grow a bigger fanbase?

Sweet, NHL lifted the NHL Center Ice blackout for tonight so we can watch this game. Hawks up 3-1. Both teams have nothing to play for.

Kane with two more points so far. He's really locking up Calder Trophy.

I guess with nothing to play for I am rooting for individual statistics and awards, and a strong finish going into next season. Win these last two games.

Tomorrow is our 1st(?) nationally televised game on NBC. Unfortunately it will not count, but it is against Detroit! Let's beat the crap out of those Dead Things!

Yeah, we had 2 games on Versus this year but this is our first game on NBC. I think we have had a few games on NBC in the past though.

Return to Chicago Blackhawks
