Durant in 3-point contest

Post#1 » by BIG EDDIE » Tue Feb 8, 2011 8:17 pm

Player Made Att. %
Ray Allen 115 249 .462
Kevin Durant 85 245 .347
Daniel Gibson 79 180 .439
James Jones 91 213 .427
Paul Pierce 73 182 .401
Dorell Wright 124 303 .409

I think its pretty strange that a 35% shooter gets to participate in this contest...
KD is a good 3-point shooter, but no way he can win this (Ray Ray will).

Btw, I wish KD would take more catch and shoot threes instead of dribble-whil contested-threes.
He could be a 40%+ shooter from 3, but needs to be much smarter on attempts.

Still hope he does well and hopefully he will learn something, ANYTHING from this contest.
Life may not be the party we hoped for but while we are here we might as well dance!

Durant is a 40% 3point shooter that takes awful 3-pointers during the season, and that's the main reason his % is the least impressive of the group.

With that element (shot selection) taken out of his hands for this contest, I expect him to do fairly well.

Does this mean he's given up his HORSE crown? He's participating in both? Or has it been scrapped?
