Why should us fans care?

This is a little rant out of frustration.

Why should Hawks fans give a shiz about this team? I can deal with losing when effort is given. I could deal with going 0-16 in football as long as that team is giving effort, but this Hawk team doesnt care. They lay eggs twice a month it seems and is a laughing stock for the "effort" they gave in last years playoffs.

Im not gonna stop being a fan of this team but boy is it hard. We buy your merchandise, we fill your stands and you give us these kinds of efforts? You embarrass what little you have left of a fanbase when you do this. Its probably to much for me to expect grown men to work for their paychecks at this point.

Bottom line is they dont care about their fans, so why should we care about them?

End of this unorganized rant.

Fill your stands? Not always, but we do buy some tickets. Actually I echo your thoughts. My ticket agent caught an angry earful last week because of the occasional no effort outings. At the time I had dismissed New Orleans as an abomination and said that it mostly happens on the road, but is frustrating. It happens at home as well. It is definitely making a renewal decision difficult.

He lost me there too...I can understand the frustration though to a certain extent

But my expectations for this team are not as high as others so i'm fine with the season so far. 8-)

It's easy. Don't buy the merchandise and don't go to games. Just watch on tv.
