Listen to the 2nd verse in this song.

Yuuup, He BEASTED on that. Pun could kill a 16 and ride with anyone on a posse cut. He had that kind of ability.

I tend to agree with knicksfan20 on the music posted recently, not much that I'm feelin'...but in general I haven't been impressed by recent drops in the industry, hence my only posting battles for a few weeks. Besides the Kid Daytona and Nottz from last year, I haven't seen much worth posting.

@ManualRam, I thought it was pretty good haha.

Wale released a music video for Break Up song (old song...but a great song IMO). It has Morgan Freeman narrating the beginning.

Can't wait until he released his next mixtape/drops his next song. I've been on the Wale bandwagon for a while.

I can't picture a Wale song no more knowing that Ross is lurking around somewhere probably. The day he signed with Maybach probably made his life a whole lot better, but I think the days of his music are done for the most part. Wouldn't surprise me if he is the Jae Millz of Maybach.

He *officially* signed to Maybach recently...February 5th if I remember correctly (could be 4th or 6th...days have been blending together because of studying for midterms). Breakup Song he released via Twitter almost a year ago so this is pre-Ross.

As for the songs that he's been in with Ross, he's done a very good job; has not changed his style at all - he's still the same rapper. Being a huge Wale fan, it bothers me that he signed with Ross (not a huge fan...has a few good songs, but he's fake). It's good for furthering his career though as he'll be featured heavily. I think he'll continue to be true to his kind of music and not change to Ross' crap lol.

What do you mean by the Jae Millz of Maybach?

I'm saying that I believe this will be the last quality of Wale, I can't predict anymore Seinfeld mixtapes. I gotta ask his brother about that one. I mean what are we going to go, No hands Wale? Ehh I'm skeptic of his future really. As far as the Jae Millz he went from NY Hype. [Vado stay be getting jumped]

I think most of you know that I hung on Wale's coattail when I first joined the site in '08, and 3 years later, he's gotten a lot bigger, but joining Rauce was the wrong decision. He's totally the opposite of that. He's not a hoodlum... Doesn't rap about any of that kind of stuff. His bread and butter are Seinfeld/Go-Go hits, and now that he can't do it anymore? I dunno...

Is he still with Roc-Nation as well?

Yeah.

Rauce is signed under Roc Nation. He was one of Jay's biggest initial signings.

More About Nothing is awesome. That and Back to the Feature. Rather Be with You IMO is a classic. I doubt Wale, J Cole and Curren$y ever do a song together again.

Love all the sport references. Not bad at all though.

Thought that was pretty interesting. Not many colleges, if any, offer that class.

Well, I rap as well, so they told me that a kid from Sea had a sick freestyle out of 6'7.
