I'm ok with him not calling it. When you are only a point down and there is 5 secs left on the clock you push the ball hard so the D doesn't get a chance to get set like they would defending an inbound play.

Well, cancel the playoff express. We're doomed on all tiebreakers. Blow It Up....

but that being said, these refs should be fired. disgusting officiating.

Wallace is not a crunchtime player, nor someone I want with the ball. Silas must've told them not to call a timeout.

WOW...you have GOT to be kidding me. What has this team done to get this kind of officiating?! That's just simly TERRIBLE! No other way around it....

Looking past that...WTF was Wallace thinking?! Should had been a foul....but if you Wallace how the hell can you slow it down and stop with 6 seconds left in the game....idiotic. By Wallace and the Refs.

The funniest thing is that Yahoo shows that last play as a missed 3pt attempt by Jax.

**** hilarious.

one of the worst calls i have ever seen to end a basketball game. jax really gets no respect. any other star gets that call 9 times out of 10.

Watching the Pacers broadcast - they know they stole this. Pacers announcers basically acknowledged that it was a foul on Jack. Obscene.

Pacers fan here.

First off, great game. You guys looked dead in the water for a while there but pulled it together and finished strong.

Second, even as a diehard Pacers fan I'll be the first to say that we got away with one at the end. No matter who you're for, you hate to see games decided by refs, but in that case it sure looked like it was worth blowing the whistle.

Good game though. It'll be a battle the remaining 35 games or whatever is left.

Again, with only 5 secs left and only 1 point down I agree with not calling a time out.

This was effing BS. As everyone mentioned, if you're not gonna call the foul fine but don't fricking throw it BACKWARDS like you've got all day, there's 6 seconds left man!!!!

Second, BLATANT foul that should've won us the game at the end. Imagine if that was Lebron or Wade who went up and got hacked? They'd be rolling the red carpet out for the free throws right now. Those officials sucked all night and they really solidified things with the no call on an obvious foul. They are allowed to review that too because it's happened to us, against our favor of course.

Sad thing is, seems like after every game we play we have this same type comment from opposing fans...that's telling....

Great game though. We probably should not had even come back to be that close....still in shock...

Noble post, it does suck that it ended at the decision of the refs when the games rules weren't followed. But this is the NBA, we're about 2 steps away from the WWF as it is with scripted games/seasons.

Pacers and Bobcats will be there at the end. You've got a bright future too, brighter than ours with the center we should've drafted, the SF we should've drafted, and the PG we should've traded for, lol.

Want to know the worst thing?

You know, I know, we all know that Jax would have waltzed up to the line and swished all three 3 point attempts and won that game for us.

He lives for that sh*t.

I'm fine with it as well. Were a running team, we know how to score in transition. A missed bucket and were trained under Silas to take it up the court as fast as we can. Plus in that situation it's easier to score because the Pacers don't have a chance to set a defense. Wallace looked like this was his first game with Silas. Like he had no idea how to bring it up the court. I mean you got to be kidding me....I'm as pissed at Wallace as the refs. The call would had been a bail out call anyway, reality is there is no reason it should had even come down to a bailout call. We should had easily been able to get a 2 point shot attempt....if only Wallace uses his damn head.

That one play by Wallace is really a microcosim (sp?) of his season. He had a great game...but man that not taking it full court to score is what his problem has been all season!
