In saying that, we shouldn't have trailed for pretty much the entire game and by as much as we did.

First off, great game. You guys looked dead in the water for a while there but pulled it together and finished strong.

Second, even as a diehard Pacers fan I'll be the first to say that we got away with one at the end. No matter who you're for, you hate to see games decided by refs, but in that case it sure looked like it was worth blowing the whistle.

Good game though. It'll be a battle the remaining 35 games or whatever is left.

Watching the Duke-Carolina game, I once again realize that, no matter how much better the overall players are in the NBA, the college game is great, and the REFS ARE MORE OBJECTIVE IN HOW THEY CALL THE GAME! Really, I've had it with NBA officiating. It's not just us...it's the limo attitude with superstars and the horrible judgement/bias they employ in verious situations. Seriously, the league needs to clean this up. You want fans to get more excited? End the bulls*** favoritism and hostage situations by primo players. I used to love this game....
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

We Pacers deserved to lose that one. Our horrendous fourth quarter deserved nothing less. A higher profile player that the refs don't hate would have got that last call in all likelyhood.

I just want to echo this. We got a gift there at the end, and it's a shame that it ended that way.

I've been following the Bobcats a lot this season. They've been almost like my 2nd team, which usually sucks on most nights since we're both in contention for those final playoff spots. Good luck the rest of the way and here's hoping Philly slides out!

We may be a running team, but I would rather have the ball at half court and set a play. But I understand what you are saying. Anyway, a loss is a loss.

I'll be absolutely shocked if Jack doesn't say something fine-worthy during the postgame interviews.

And I would not have a problem with it at all. Wuite honestly SOMEONE needs to say SOMETHIGN to get some attention on this. Honestly, if I'm MJ i'm saying something. This continous terrible officiating that is costing us games is just simply not fair.

I've been sitting here racking my brain as to who would be the best person to rip the snot out of the refs on our behalf. I don't think it should be Jax though. It should be Coach Silas - or even better - MJ?

That would show they support Jax for not getting that call at the end.

Thinking the same thing - MJ needs to pull a Cuban!

Yeah. Silas or MJ need to say something....i mean this is ridiculous. If those refs are not disiplined in some mannor than that is a true travesty. MJ must ahd done something to piss off Stern so Stern called up the refs to have them throw the game.....it's literally getting to that point...

Isn't Larry Brown a consultant for the Bobcats?

Defrost him, roll him out and have him deliver one of the best all time sprays of all time!

If Jax got the 3 free throws he SHOULD had gotten, I have no doubt in my mind we win that game. Oh well...just got to push on. But you have to wonder, if the officiating continues to be this bad against us as it has been in the last week or so, how can we possibly win the close games? I mean honestly, it's almost like no matter what we do, were going to have something called against us.

Unlike the Miami game Slam, THIS was an outcome altering screw job by the officials.

Unbelievable...

Silas HAS to say something about this. When his hornets teams got screwed he was known to let loose. Anyone remember him giving one ref the finger after he was ejected?

thanks to the pacers fans for not rubbing this in our faces. classy. :)

we didnt deserve to be in this game the way we coasted for 40 minutes, but damnit, by a miracle we were. and to have that happen to end a game just sucks. i have no doubt that any other star player in the league gets that call.

if that happened to kobe, lebron, wade or pierce it would be on front page of yahoo for the next two days "refs steals win from nba team - find out who". sadly, since its the bobcats vs pacers this will not receive a nano second of attention on espn, yahoo or nbatv.

silas took the high road in post game.

i would love to see MJ step up and bitch about this call, but you and i both know MJ didnt see this game. he was too busy watching duke vs carolina. maybe after one of his assistants shows him the replay tonight after the carolina game he will get mad, but i doubt it.

all we can do is move on. you wanna be a playoff team, then dont leave it up to the refs to decide games.

and i am still pissed at wallace for his brain fart.

Rutgers just beat Villanova on a 4pt play and there was considerably less contact with that foul than there was with Collison hacking Jax on his 3pt attempt.

1st time he said something like - it was judgement call and the ref judged that it wasnt a foul. blah blah blah

2nd time he said something like - on the replay it showed contact. blah blah blah

i couldnt hear the questions only the answers. but he definitely was choosing his words carefully.
